🧟♀️Happy Halloween Tips 🎃For tomorrows themed night
😀 We have some fun training games, a trick for treat competition (see more posts below for ideas) and best disguise competition for handler or dog.
🐾 If your planning on dressing up your dogs for our best disguise competition, make sure your dog is comfortable wearing it.
🐕🦺 A spooky bandana or bow tie on the collar are some ideas and your dog may be happier with something simple like this.
🧐 Read their body language, is their tail tucked, their ears pinned back, are they moving away when you go to put somthing on them. If so then don’t make them.
🍗 Using treats to try and introduce a costume can make it a more positive experience.
⏰ only keep it on for a short time if it’s too distracting for them to focus on training or gets in the way when walking.
🧛♂️ If your dressing up yourself introduce it slowly to your dog put one accessory at a time you can use their favour treats to reward them for being calm and comfortable around you
🧟♀️ Make sure you are comfortable and can move easily too.
