3 years of walking this handsome lad! Where has that time gone🤯 Max is just such a pleasure to walk, hands down one of the most rewarding dogs I have ever walked❤️ When I think back to our first walks, he was so over excited, over stimulated and overwhelmed that he wouldn’t even take a treat, just wanted to have attention from the other dogs and get alllll up in their faces, now he’s the first to come back when I whistle, he sits and beams up at me for a treat or even just a pat for a reward🥹 He trots along next to me off lead and if the lead goes on it’s as if nothing’s changed, just carries on strolling walking beside the other dogs, no competition, he’s just happy to be there🥰 He’s such an ally to the other dogs, if he’s not happy with the roughness of the play he’s straight there checking if everyone is having a good time, he truly is such a good boy and everyone just loves him❤️ Always so happy to have you as part of the team Maxy boy, here’s to many more years😘🐾

2 years ago I snapped this photo as we were walking through the dunes back to the car, on the day my mortgage was going through and I was about to become a first time home owner. I had friends and family stationed along the route to my new house so the movers could collect my belongings and I could carry on working. I dropped this sandy lot off to their homes, picked up my boys and headed to my new house. I sat surrounded by boxes with my dogs on my feet, ate a whole tub of Ben and Jerrys because my freezer wasn’t plugged in yet (maybe I would’ve eaten the whole thing regardless) and slept on a mattress on the floor. The next day I woke up at 7am and took the boys for a walk around their new park, got home to a parking ticket on my car because my permit hadn’t arrived yet and the rest is history🤣 A rescue dog, a thriving business and 2 years later, I took those same dogs (Indra instead of Riley because it’s a Monday not a Friday!) to do the same walk we did 2 years ago, snapped the same photo of them bouncing through the dunes and returned them home happy and just a little sandy. So much of my personal life has changed in these 2 years but I’m so beyond happy, proud and thankful that my business remains the same and better. The same customers continue to stick by me with a few new ones gratefully picked up along the way. 2 whole years of chaotic renovations, motorway nightmares and a commute longer than just walking to the next street and I can’t say I wouldn’t change it for the world but I certainly am grateful I get to do what I do and soak up the bliss of nature while surrounded by the most brilliant packs of dogs and supported by the most fantastic owners. Happy 2 years of being a home owner to me 🏡
