Dates are now out for our 4 day riding trails, these get booked up very quickly, so please get in touch

Each day we will set out from Witherslack Hall Farm and ride for approx. 4-5 hours with a pub or picnic lunch, we will then return back to Witherslack Hall Farm House where you can take a bath and relax before dinner.

Riders must be capable of riding at a canter over undulating ground.
Weight limit 15st

Day 1-

Today we will stay on the Witherslack Estate, which boasts an amazing 2500 Acres of secluded woodland tracks, quiet lanes and open fell, with plenty of opportunities to canter. Lunch will be at the Farmhouse today.

Day 2-

We will be riding out towards the West side of the valley today with some amazing views out across Morecambe Bay, we will be heading over Simpson ground and making our way over Cartmel Fell to the Hare and Hounds for Lunch, after lunch we will make our way through Bowland Bridge then joining back on to the Estate.

Day 3

Today we will be heading East through the Lyth Valley (Home of the Damson), making our way over to Underbarrow and stopping for lunch at the Black Labrador. After lunch we will make our way back to the Farm, Skirting Whitbarrow Scar Nature Reserve.

Day 4

Our Final day will take us South West towards Hampsfell, be prepared for some breath taking views from the 727-feet summit, on a clear day you can see Blackpool Tower. We will have a picnic lunch today.

Just found this link to all the nature around us, we are so privileged to be based right in the middle with rides that take us through Witherslack woods (hopefully anyday now we'll start seeing the bluebells) we often see the dear, butterflies and see and hear the birds.

What a gorgeous day here at Witherslack Hall Farm in the Lake District. The sun was shining, birds singing, snow drops and daffodils are making an appearance. The horses are enjoying a bit of sun on their backs, a few more weeks will say goodbye to their slightly scruffy winter coats as their summer coats come through.
