My birthday yesterday was spent hard at work in the back garden ...the fun day was today! Up early today to spend a lovely day at Crummock Water for the dogs' first official modelling job ...what a beautiful place to be at 'work'! 😁📷🐕

Only two weeks until the end of the academic year, and it's been a busy one! This year continued to be a challenging one for schools, and for me personally as I grabbed a whistle and returned to teaching PE. Being back in school full time left very little time for dog training, and, whilst it's been possible to squeeze a few in here and there, I've always rather given my everything than spread myself too thin. If I'm doing something, I'm doing it well!
I'm very proud of everything Game Changer Dogs has been. I'll continue to work as a volunteer with RSPCA Westmorland Branch, and I'll keep learning as I do love all things canine. But for the foreseeable, I'm channeling my energy into teaching children as I've got the opportunity to be in school full time ...and a promotion! So, from here on, there will be much less business and far more Ms Teggart, Deputy Head of Year 8!

Happy International Day of the Podenco
And Happy 6th Birthday Keira!
Almost 6 years ago, volunteers came across three pups, thought to be less than two weeks old, abandoned at the side of the road. Keira and her two brothers were rescued by Steve and Irene Allen at Hope For Podencos and from then they were safe. Safe and loved, kept warm and well fed, treated with kindness and understanding, protected not persecuted.
It’s thought up 80,000 Podencos like her will be killed this year in Spain. Trusting souls who deserve so much more …so, for Keira’s birthday, help raise awareness of the plight of Podencos!

After letting the humans have a lovely lunch at Barista Brothers Grange (which was partly shared with us …although we’re not sure the ratio was exactly right) we had a blast on the beech with friend Polly. Sighthounds doing what sighthounds do best!

Barista Brothers on the Prom is perfect if you’re out for a walk with the dogs. Great coffee, delicious food and very dog friendly!

Happiest of Birthdays Blink …5 years old today! 🥳
She’s the dog that’s taught me the most and loved me the hardest, she’s my side kick and my partner in crime. She’s the dog that someone warned me might break me 😆 …and she’s actually the dog that’s made me!
