What a great Woodlands Walk we had this morning. Thank you so much for joining and making this happen. Feels so good to be able to just walk and have a good chat while the doggies enjoy themselves!

Was so nice seeing Penny, Simba, Angel, Tarzan, Norman, Violet and Toph all together with their owners.

Rocco absolutely loved joining in with you all and having cuddles with everyone. He also took most of the photos!

Our next Woodlands Walk will be Saturday 26th July!

Another early start today.

The temperature is shooting up fast and I'm going to do my best to get everyone in before it's too hot.

I've started 30 mins earlier today to try and beat that heat and the team won't be too far behind.

Apologies again if there are last minute cancellation and changes.

Huge thank you to my girls this week for starting earlier and getting this difficult week done!

What an absolute scorcher we are having!

Tomorrow has changed dramatically and I have sent out the changes to everyone with my first walk starting at 6am just to get as many in before walks have to stop by 10am.

After 10am tomorrow it will be pop ins only.

Good Morning!

It's just before 6am and I am up ready and about to leave to get to the first lot of dogs for the day! The rest of the team won't be too far behind 😉

I have already brought some walks forward for today and our last walk will finish by 12.15/30.

I will be taking it hour by hour so there may still be last minute changes.

All walks will be 50 minutes today to ensure we get everyone in and keep everyone safe. We have water with us and will be staying in shaded areas only.

As always we appreciate your flexibility and understanding during the summer months

Afternoon!

After many of you actually asking for this over the years, and had someone else today mentioning it, I am now going to get something set up!

I am looking at getting a once a month Wood Training/Social Group walk set up for owners to bring their dog(s) for a fun walk with myself and others in the woods where we will do some engaging activities during the walk making it fun for all.

It would be an on lead walk (for safety reasons) but would give you the opportunity to see what we at Bright Skies normally do when we take them out. How we engage with the dogs and how we manage to walk a group.

It would mainly be for dogs that are friendly but can talk to those who are interested but not sure if it would suit their dog.

They will also need to be good with children as my son would be joining these walks too. Which also allows good training opportunities for dogs to learn to remain calm and ignore children! Even if my child distracts them ☺️☺️

This would be the last Saturday each month at 9.30am and be in the Abbey Wood Area. Location would be confirmed a few days before.

It would be £10 per dog/per owner. The owner must be present.

A minimum of 4 dogs would be needed to commit for this to go ahead and a maximum of 10 dogs altogether ☺️

If you'd be interested please let me know and I can set up a WhatsApp group for us so all information can be sent regarding these monthly walks.

Afternoon!

We are almost done for the day already today with the weather!

Next week is looking like a hot one too! I will send the rota out shortly but please do expect any last minute changes if the weather increases. As always the welfare and wellbeing of our furry family comes first.

I will be starting extra early so if anyone is happy with a 7am walk please do let me know. The team will also be starting as early as they can, working around their own school run so etc

More information will be sent when I send the rota out ☺️☺️
