Buckley update 🥰😻

Our battered boy is doing remarkably well! His wounds are healing, his coat is shining and despite the frown, he is so much happier 🩵

He has turned in to a bit of a biscuit lover, preferring these over the wet food. Going from strength to strength as the days go by, he will be totally ready for his dental next week ☺️

Amazing what rescue, love, care and repeating does 😻🩵🩵

Fluffy 🐈‍⬛ 🖤🤍Living outside, in a garden, he is now in the warm. Cat rescues in the UK at present are heaving. We often have to say to people we cannot help. Our waiting list of owned, stray and feral cats waiting to come in is at 60. We constantly have to prioritise injured and sick cats and those on our waiting list then get pushed back. Fluffy has been on our waiting list since July 2024. It was now his turn to come in. An unneutered boy with no microchip who is matted and a little shut down right now. His finders named his Fluffy. We will get him to the vets this week for a full MOT 😻Welcome Fluffy to the cat lady house. A warm bed, food, love and care now 💙💙

Buckley update 😻😻

Buckley’s wounds are slowly healing, he keeps rubbing his nose so we may need to put the cone of shame on to him if he continues 😢

He is a love bug! ❤️❤️
He is total lap cat, smoocher, chatter box and purr machine. He equally loves his chicken 🍗

Our boy is slowly getting there and in a few more weeks he can go in for his dental 🦷

Buckley is home 🏡 😃

After an overnight stay at our vets for some much needed treatment, Buckley is home. He is on antibiotics and pain relief, his bloods came back good and he had a negative FIV test!! He now just needs to recover ❤️‍🩹

Whilst in the vets he was also castrated and microchipped 😊

We go back soon for a dental as there are a few broken and rotten teeth 🦷

All in all, he is brighter, happy and out of pain 🩵🩵

Buckley 💔🐾🖤

We were contacted about this poor soul and were asked to help him. He has been visiting two lovely ladies who gained his trust, they even managed to safely secure him this morning for us until we could pick him up 😢

He is a mess. He is the face of an unneutered Tom cat whose injuries are from fighting. He needs some urgent TLC and medical intervention, thankfully our wonderful veterinary team have booked us in for tomorrow morning 💔 we will work closely with the vets to get him better. His ears are full of gunk and bent over, his head has a puncture wound, his fur is oily and greasy, yet his love and heart are pure 🥰 meowing and purring already for us 😢

We will patch him up, we will provide everything he needs and we will love him. As our saying goes, ‘Rescue, Love, Care and Repeat’ this is exactly what we will do 🐾

Welcome Mummy and Babies 😻🐾❤️

Living out at a stables where previous cats have been neutered and returned, we were asked to help these 3 to avoid further breeding amongst the colony. All 3 are pretty friendly so far just nervous ❤️🐈‍⬛

These three were caught today by the wonderful Michelle and her cat whispering teammates and are now safely in foster with the lovely Lisa 🥰

They go in this week for their spays at our vets and we will continue to work with them to turn them in to purr machines 🩷

Teamwork gets results 🐾

❤️🐾6 people involved with getting this cat safe, each who played a part in this cat’s journey 🐾❤️

Meet, Butterfly 🦋 (reasoning behind the name, read on ⬇️)

Yesterday a cat was posted in a Facebook group by a lovely lady as her son had spotted a cat in the carpark at Clowes Wood, Blean, Whitstable.

You can see from the map that there are no nearby houses to these woods. It is in the middle of greenery and woodland. Another lady who saw the post, travelled down there, off her own back, to check it out and came across a pile of leaves where the cat had made a bed but there were no signs of the cat 😢

Today, one of our cat foster mums who lives locally went down there on a whim to lay some food and the cat was spotted. After enticing the cat over with food, she managed to secure the cat in a cat carrier 🐱

We strongly suspect this cat has been dumped. The cat is friendly and even though the photos do not show it, is unbelievably underweight. This cat had made a bed out of a pile of leaves 😭 and hadn’t ventured far at all - how heartbreaking 💔

Julie 🦸🏼‍♀️ who helps run a lost and found animal group in the local area of Whitstable, kindly scanned the cat for a microchip for us and sadly no chip was found.

We have named this cat Butterfly 🦋 as there is a rare breed of moth that frequent these woods called the white spotted sable moth which the butterfly conservation team work and monitor.

Every cat deserves a name. Every cat deserves to be loved in whichever way they choose 💕

We sincerely hope no other cats were dumped down there, Butterfly is one of the lucky ones.

Welcome sweetheart, you are now safe and will be loved with a full belly of food tonight 🐟 🥩

Leyton tip cats 🐈‍⬛ 🐾

These two gorgeous babies, Maxi and Midnight, who had been living at a tip in Leyton have been taken to their new home today. The tip is no longer a place they can call home and as time goes on, all the cats will be relocated.

Over the years they have been watched over, cared for and fed by the staff and people who frequent the tip along with their hero of a rescuer, Emma ❤️

Today, they start their new life at a beautiful stables and will be closely watched over by their new owners 🥰
