Hardy 🐾 🐈‍⬛

This little soldier is nothing but a love bug despite his war wounds 😢

He is still under our vets for wound management and goes back tomorrow to have it cleaned and freshened up. This will likely take around 6+ weeks to heal but so far, he is going from strength to strength 🥹 he wants nothing but love and affection from us humans 🩵🩵

When he is ready for adoption, whoever ends up with him will be one lucky paw-rent! 🍀

Another 3 were caught today from our Crumble Colony 😻❤️

These cats reside in a country home and frequent the stables on the land. All of them are going back once recovered from neutering and will have a home there for life ❤️

Presumed all girls, they go in for neutering tomorrow 😃 no more babies for this colony!

We have named them Blackberry, Plum and Cherry 🍒 in keeping with our crumble theme.

Another day another colony to neuter 😻

As this is a new colony we have to pick another theme to name them after, this colony will be named after crumbles 😀 here we have apple and rhubarb 🥧

These two friendly ones will be neutered this week and will then go back to living in their country home. A small but friendly colony who reside amongst humans and horses. We estimate there to be approximately 8-10 cats to neuter, over the next few weeks we will work on neutering them all so they can no longer breed.

Abbaye 😻❤️🐾

Sweet little Abbaye (named after cheese) is approx 1 year old. She is a shy little girl but once she gets used to you is a real dream. She loves her toys, dreamies and catnip. She especially likes a lick-e-lix 😋

Abbaye has been around other cats and could live with a laid back cat. Due to her nervous ways she is best off in a quiet household 🏠 a beautiful Tortie girl looking for that extra special home

Buzz 🐝 🐱 - Currently in Canvey Island

Sweet Buzzy Buzz is 8 years old looking for a new family. He enjoys curling up on the sofa, sunbathing, head and chin strokes and being brushed.

He is up to date on his vaccinations and has recently had a check up at the vets. He is eagerly awaiting an owner to love him 🥹

Laurel 🐈‍⬛ ❤️ REHOMED

This little lady is approx 1 years old. She came in to us with Hardy after being saved by one of our lovely vets as she was at risk of being put to sleep due to no place for her to go. Our vet refused to do this and rightly so and in she came to our own vets where we agreed to take her. She is now safe and forever will be thanks to our wonderful veterinary team 🥹

We don’t know much about her history but what we do know is that she is lovely 😍

Laurel is a confident little girl who loves her toys, cat nip and loves a stroke. If there is a toy around, she is playing with it. Laurel only eats biscuits (her choice, not ours) she detests wet food and much prefers munching on a biscuit 🍪

Her favourite food is dreamies. If you are lucky enough to adopt this girl, you’ll need a packet of dreamies or two 😃

Laurel would make a lovely companion, she is relaxed, playful and is quite happy to snuggle down next to you 😺

Cat number 19😳

This little girl is cat number 19 (we got the s*x wrong previously 😂) from the farm. We have named her Edam 🧀 female number 16 from this colony who has been pretty hard to catch! She is still a baby and is likely around 9 months old. We will let her adjust and assess her to see what she likes and doesn’t like. She goes in this week for her spay, microchip, healthcheck etc.

From looking at the camera footage that we set up on the farm, we think there are likely another 6 to catch.

Bertie 🐾 ❤️

Bertie is approx 5 years old and found himself as a poorly stray who was taken to the vets in a carrier bag! 😨 Despite his poor start in life, he is a wonderful cat who just loves humans!

Bertie purrs, chirps and loves to be by your side. He often climbs on you to snuggle under your chin 🥹 he enjoys being picked up and will sit on your shoulder like a parrot 🦜

He is looking for his forever indoor home where he will be loved, fed dreamies and food on tap and have someone to snuggle with 😍

Bertie is deaf but this doesn’t stop him being a cat 🐱 due to this he will need a strictly indoor home or someone with a catio/ cat proofed garden.

Hardy 💔🥺

This beautiful, sweet natured boy is named Hardy. He almost lost his life this week. He was taken to a vets as a stray as he had gaping wounds on his neck, very likely from fighting as he wasn’t neutered.

Due to no owner coming forward, no rescue locally able to take him on he was due to be put to sleep. Luckily for him one of the lovely vets who also works at the vets we use; refused to end his life and she brought him with her to our vets. From there he would be in safe hands.
When our vet asked us to take him, of course we said yes ❤️

Hardy will remain at our vets over the next few weeks whilst his neck heals. They will tend and care for him during the week and on the weekends he will come back to us. This beautiful cat is a real sweetheart, he rolls over for belly tickles and is a love bug 😍

He is one of the lucky ones, sadly the current cat crisis in the UK is showing no sign of stopping or improving anytime soon. We strongly believe that in years to come if people don’t start to neuter and curb the breeding of cats, those cats you see on the streets abroad lining the roadside, will be a sight you see in England soon enough 😢

Ambert 😻 Looking for an outdoor home 🏡

Sweet Ambert is a feisty girl who isn’t a fan of humans touching her. She was caught on a farm we are working on and is used to outdoor life.

Although comfortable around humans, happily takes a treat and eats in front of you, she isn’t happy being handled.

She has been neutered, microchipped, flead and wormed.

We are looking for an outdoor home for her where she can be watched over, fed daily, and doted on…but from a distance.

All of our cats come with a lifetime rescue back up and for all of our ferals, if any of them do turn friendly (not unheard of) we always offer the option of them coming back to find a home indoors on a sofa 🛋️

Welcome to the Cat Lady House sweet darling. You are safe now!

These baby kittens and mum cat were dumped outside a vets, found taped up in a box 😢😭 it really is so sad what these poor defenceless animals go through at the hands over humans 😔

Thankfully they were rescued by one of the lovely veterinary nurses who found them and we were asked to help take them in 💕

Mum and five babies are doing well so far and we will watch them closely as they grow ☺️

I’m so pleased to announce that we at Cat Lady TNR are officially a Registered Charity: no 1208915

I started this little rescue in 2022 because I wanted to make a difference to the lives of feral cats. And oh my, haven’t we done just that!

All of us at Cat Lady TNR have worked so so hard to get to where we are and to save as many cats as we can 🐈‍⬛ 🐈 🐱

To be granted charity status is a huge achievement and one we are very proud of ❤️❤️

Lucky LuluBelle 🧡

On the 5th May going in to the early hours of the 6th May, Crinkle gave birth to 7 babies.

1 was sadly born sleeping. During the first week, one after the other sadly faded and passed away, leaving crinkle with 1 remaining kitten. After a few weeks and out of the what we call scary stage, this little girlie has made it, she has been named Lucky LuluBelle 🧡

Rescue is hard, coming in to find forever sleeping babies each day is heart wrenching. Due to crinkle likely mating with her brother and with her being third generation in**ed already, the babies prognosis was always guarded from the beginning 😢

No more babies for Crinkle and certainly no babies ever for little L-Belle!

She has already been reserved as her fosterers can’t bear to part with her ☺️🥹

Rescue isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, it is really hard some days but we continue and carry on for the cats ❤️❤️

Ambert went in for her spay yesterday and thank god she did! She had a high temperature and it was found that her paws and toes were quite infected and smelly. She has been given a course of antibiotics to start and will be given pain relief as well 🤒

Her spay went well and she is now home recovering where her new life starts here. Still under assessment at present however, we can touch her, she is eating in front of us and she takes treats from our hand! This is all positive and going in the right direction. Cats like her just need some time, patience and love whilst they blossom in to the perfect cat 😻

Tibby 🩷 Tibby came in to us on Saturday and is quite poorly. She was previously owned and kicked out of her house like a piece of rubbish 😞 Tibby is very poorly and we aren’t sure if she will be with us for long 💔 The vets are running tests on her to see if we can help treat her, we do know that her heart is not good. Poorly little Hera is back from the vets tonight. Another 80mls of pus has been drained from her chest. She goes back in tomorrow for chest drains to be inserted, this will help her feel more comfortable and will make it easier for the vets to drain the build up.
