The lovely poodle puppy Oscar was coming in for his first puppy groom today, however it was decided we would try a full groom and see how he goes as he was very overgrown and the weather heating up… well another puppy superstar on the table, perfectly behaved and even had a mini nap after his bath before I put the dryer on, loooved my puppy groom morning 🥰🐾 see you again soon Joanne Parkyns

Today was Teddie’s return visit, tad overgrown so today’s groom request was to go as short as possible all over.

Teddie wasn’t keen on me grooming her face last time but today she was very good and let me do it all 🥰

Then there’s lovely Simba the Cockerpoo .. what a chilled boy he was. We had some matting issues, so although the intention was to use the normal clipper attachments for this breed to keep some length today Simba had to Channel his inner poodle, I think he pulled it off fantasticly.. 🥰🐾🥰

Today I got to bath, gland clear, blow dry, nail clip, and ear clean this handsome 10yr old staff lab X called Ted… he was such a good boy and let me do it all, went home smelling gorgeous, all soft and shiny 🥰🐶🐾

If you are wanting to book in for July and August please do get in touch asap, i am starting to fill up 3+ weeks sometimes more in advance, I have some flexibility but not as much as I used to, so please don’t leave it too long before making your next bookings 🥰🐾

Today I met the handsome doodle mix Buddy, I’m pretty sure he was almost as tall as me on his hind legs lol.. he was so good.
Wasn’t keen on ears and rear, but we took at his speed and got there in the end.
Buddy has some allergies and skin issues so I used a calming oatmeal shampoo especially for skin irritations.
Groom request was not too short, but summer ready, clear the fur around his eyes and let him see is most important 😂
Clear the rear, tidy the feet, take out the small matts, trim nails, clean ears, empty a**l glands, bath and blow dry .

Over the weekend I met and groomed Rocco the cocker spaniel, this was his first ever groom.
Started out nervous and apprehensive but we took everything at his pace.
Groom request due to a mix of puppy and almost adult fur the owners requested no clipping this time just an all over tidy, clear the feet, remove the ear matts, clear the rear, clean ears, trim nails , bath and blow dry.

Left a happy shiny, lighter lad 🥰🐾

The wonderful gentle giant Storm came in today for a full groom, so calm she even laid down in the bath for her spa session 🥰

The lovely Winston came in today, a beagle cavalier X
Groom request short all over. We had a few grass seeds needing cutting out, and a few sore spots so used the special oat shampoo, full groom, ears cleaned, glands cleared, pads cleared, short shave. Summer ready ☺️
Such a good boy throughout.

Today was lovely Margot the yorkie-poo’s first puppy groom, cleared the eyes. Tidied the feet, cleared the pads, trimmed the nails, cleared the rear, cleaned the ears, bath and blow dry… such a good girl, so calm and well behaved. Took to all the new sounds and smells brilliantly.

Today, handsome, chilled Nathan the fluffy frenchie returned, as well as bath, blow dry, nails and brush I was asked to thin and clear the rear, as very fluffy and not ideal and shave the tummy to clear the wee flight path 😂☺️
Mission accomplished, such a sweeet natured boy 🥰🐾

The lovely 10yr old chihuahua x Pomeranian Beau returned today for her second groom with me.. she is just so chilled, but we take it nice and gentle and slow, bless her, she can’t be expected high legs and long stands at her age 🥰
Groom request is short all over but we keep a little of the pom style head 🥰🐾

Today the lovely Skye returned, the family asked to take her face closer as a lot of fluff and grey.

As she is still young and very mixed, the fur is ever changing at the moment. Skye had a good de shed, brush out, scissor tidy, feet fur tidy, nails cut and filed, ears wiped, bath and blow dry and face taken as close as Skye would allow this time as it’s new to her. 🥰🐾 Dolores Collins Snr

Today was the return of the lovely Pepper and the fun loving ball of energy Lucy… pepper for a full groom, and Lucy who is a mixed wire coat a tidy up, bath and blow dry, both have their nails done and filed so they aren’t sharp upon their return home.

Today was the nervous but so very lovely Teddy, new to pawfectly calm.

We had a few trust issues around face and feet but we got there in the end. (Cheeky little chicken bribes ☺️)

Due to some matting in certain areas and the hot weather groom request was short, and clear as much fur as I could around the lips.
Got to have a little more practice with the new flip fluffers Sharperedges Scissors Ltd

Today I met and groomed the lovely Hugo, 15yr old toy poodle.
He had a bit of a sorry time at last groomers bless him, so was a little nervous, he brought his ducks to keep him company ☺️🐾

Groom request was short all over, tidy the tail and ears and take the feet as short as I could, nails, ears bath and blow dry.

Considering he’s almost blind and deaf, and worried about being groomed, he did so well, everything took a little longer but he was patient and such a good boy.
He got some new toy frogs on pick and I got some flowers, a very happy Hugo and Elaine 🥰🐾

Today I met and groomed the lovely Poppy.
Groom request- due to being shaved short at previous groomers, take the body short but leave the legs longer. Tidy the ears but leave the length, teddy the feet but thin them out, trim the tail, bath, blow dry, nails, not too much of the head and face, but round the muzzle, leave the eye lashes, clear the eyes.

Poppy was a little nervous but so well behaved, an absolute pleasure to groom… I look forward to next time

Today was the lovely monkey Teddy.. such a good boy until feet and face time 😂 we got there in the end.
Groom request - shave flat and clear the matts, take the ears thin and short due to grass seeds and matts, clear the feet and take his face shorter, tidy tail, bath and blow dry and nails.

Today I got to groom the very chilled and lovely George and Lilly.
Initially thought I might have my hands full, but they were soooo good from start to finish.. they were both an absolute delight to groom and pamper 🥰🐶🐾
I got lots of love as did they 🥰
