✨Foster and adoption success✨

'Little update on Kenzo,

He is doing amazingly well, we feel like we have had him all of his life, he is so settled now. Leaving him at home for a couple of hours has really boosted his confidence. He can now lie on the sofa and sleep instead of pacing at the door. We are getting him some training towards other dogs, even though he has came on leaps and bounds, we want him to be fully relaxed even when seeing other dogs pass by.

We are so so proud of him and how much he has came out of his shell, he’s such a funny little character and so affectionate.

He was part of my proposal as we got engaged last week. We couldn’t imagine life without him now.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to foster him and then become his forever parents. We love him so much. '

Last year our longstay rabbit Luke found his forever home just in time for Christmas.

Smoggy (formerly known as Dudley) has found his forever home. 🏡

'Smoggy has settled in very well, and is already truly part of the family!

He is so friendly and gentle with the kids, and he loves cuddling up on the sofa at any opportunity with the loudest purr! He is becoming vocal, loves to play, runs to the door to greet us when we get home, and has found some very cosy places to sleep. His character is so cheeky and playful he is always making us laugh!

I attach a few photos of him so you can see how happy he is 😊

Thank you for rescuing him and for choosing our application to rehome him - the cat shaped hole in our family after the loss of our previous rescue cat has been filled ❤️'

Aysha has found her forever home🏡

Aysha’s journey began in the most heartbreaking way. She was abandoned, scared, and in a terrible state, left tied to a gate covered in matts and faeces. The main handlers that Aysha had developed close bonds with worked tirelessly to help her heal and put her past behind her.💔

It can take so much time, patience, and care to get dogs like Aysha ready for rehoming. Aysha surpassed our expectations and continued to go from strength to strength. Although she was overwhelmed on her arrival, it didn’t take long for her sweet character to shine through.🐕

Aysha was lucky enough to find a dedicated family willing to give her a chance.
We can't thank Nadine, Cole and Chrissy enough for giving Aysha her second chance where she is now living the life of luxury.

We received a heartwarming update from Aysha's family, who say:

'When we saw Aysha, we knew straight away that she was meant to be part of our family. It’s been an emotional but rewarding journey along with the challenges—but every single moment has been worth it.

Aysha has blossomed into the most loving, cheeky dog. She loves nothing more than running on the beach, completely free and happy.

At home, though, she’s the ultimate couch potato and spoiled princess, ruling the house with sass and stubbornness.

This experience has shown us how much hard work goes into helping dogs like Aysha find happiness again. She’s filled our lives with so much love and laughter, and we can’t imagine life without her.

The fact that she got a second chance in life has made her one of the lucky ones and we are grateful for her in our home everyday. 🤎

Thank you for everything you have done for her to get back to a point where she managed to find us 🥰 she really is the best.'

'Here's an update on our adopted trio, Tony, Cole & Eve... now Chester, Monty & Violet.

They are settling in well and are quite possibly the most interactive and cuddly cats we've ever had. Hearing their purrs is just such a joy. They have such different personalities and we're letting them explore at their own pace. They love chasing their feathered teaser stick and can't get enough of their new cat tree!

They've brought such joy & happiness into our lives - thank you for pairing our family with theirs.'

Jasper found his forever home last year with a wonderful family that will provide him with all the love and attention he needs!

'I just wanted to send an update on Jasper and let you know how well he is doing! He has settled into our routines really well and tells us now when it is bedtime, treat time or when his walk is due!! He's a lovely character and really affectionate and playful with us all. We have started to introduce him to some of our family and friends, and their dogs, and he has been super friendly with humans and hounds alike, but also knows when to give others space.

Thank you from us all for the love and care you gave him during his stay with you and for helping to prepare him for his forever home.'

Ernie and Jett are living their best lives. They were a very much loved duo at the centre. It was simply impossible to not fall in love with them. We are thrilled they have found a home together, as they were such a closely bonded pair.

Can this trio's little family join yours? 🐈🐾

Ta**us, Atlas and Midnight are staying hopeful that they will get their happy ending very soon.

We appreciate that asking someone to take on three cats is a lot, however we couldn't have split this gorgeous family unit up, they have forged such a close bond. They have been through so much together and are totally devoted to one another. They really are best friends who rely on each other for companionship, comfort, and security.

Ta**us, Atlas and Midnight are looking for the following home:

🏡To be rehomed together as a trio.
🏡To be the only pets in the household.
🏡To live in a safe area where they will have access to go outside. The trio may want to have a potter around the garden, however they do spend majority of their time indoors.

✅They have all been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Katie was recently adopted and we were so happy to hear that she had settled in well!

'Katie has settled in amazingly well! She really is a confident little lady with a very loud voice!

We have learnt that she can open door handles which led to her not staying in her little room very long, however she is enjoying our company and sis following us around wherever we go, a lot of the time anyway. She is asleep on the sofa with us as we speak!

We went out for a bit this morning to get her used to being on her own and it seemed to be successful - we are going to keep building up the time to see how she goes.

She is a real sweetheart and is just so affectionate, which is lovely!'

HAMSTERS LOOKING FOR HOMES🐾

Mr Frosty and Coco arrived into our care when they were abandoned by their previous owners.

Mr Frosty🐾

This little chap has a curious and intelligent character – he loves exploring his enclosure, hunting for his daily treats and burning off some energy on his exercise wheel. Mr Frosty is a little under socialised and whilst he’s not the biggest fan of being handled, he will often come out of his den to investigate when he has human company, but being nocturnal, mostly enjoys naps throughout the day, to prepare him for all the activity at night. Mr Frosty is seeking an understanding hamster loving home!

Coco 🐾 (RESERVED)

Coco is a friendly, laid-back hamster, she doesn't mind being handled and will come over to take treats from your hand. She has the sweetest little personality! This friendly and inquisitive girl is full of curiosity and loves exploring her surroundings. Whether she is sniffing out new adventures or peeking out to say hello. Can you offer her a forever home?

Salt and Pepper need your help to find a forever home together 🏡

The boys were abandoned by their previous owner. 💔

Salt and Pepper are an older, sweet pair looking for a home together in adjacent housing . They are happy to come over and sit on your knee, where they will accept as many cuddles and treats as they can.

The boys are currently set up in adjacent enclosures, due to a little squabble they had on arrival. Salt and Pepper can enjoy their own space and they appreciate one another a lot more as they do still enjoy chatting to one another side by side. They have been together from birth and we feel that they will benefit staying together as bonded brothers.

They both deserve a chance to live the rest of their days in a warm, loving home where they can be pampered and cherished. They have so much love to give, and all they need is a family to make their world a little brighter.

Lexi (formerly known as Robin) has finally got her happily ever after!

We received a lovely update from Lexi's family, who say:

'We have been without a pet for 5 years, since we lost our beloved springer spaniels Maggie and Millie. We decided it was time to add a fur baby to our life again so now we have Lexi. Lexi has settled in very well has a new bed, scratching tower, toys from
our friends. We are so happy we have Lexi, she is joy to have around our home.

We are very impressed with you all at the RSPCA so thank you for the work you do and for rescuing animals like Lexi.'
