Tetney Lock Gun-Dog Training

Tetney Lock Gun-Dog Training Welcome to Tetney Lock Dog Training. A training class for Gun Dog breeds to help owners with obedience and further gun dog training.

Classes are taken by Andy Onn on a Monday night at Tetney Lock not far from the Crown & Anchor pub. Andy has been training working gun dogs for over 25 years, and has experience with all sub category breeds, working and trialling his own dogs. The class is for owners to gain confidence with there dogs, improve obedience, encourage the novice handler and bring out the working capabilities from the

dogs. All gun dog breeds...Retrievers, Spaniels, Setters, Pointers and HPR are welcome. Andy has experience with all breeds and are welcome from puppies to adult dogs. Classes start at 18:00hrs on Monday 21st April 2014 at Tetney Lock on the foot path past the Crown & Anchor pub. Classes cost £4 and all money raised goes to local charities.

Putting abusive and derogatory comments about tetney lock gundog
It has been running for 40 odd years and we have been raising approx £1000 every year for charity.
If this is is such a bad group - I'm sure it would not have been running for so long.
We have people returning year after year.

Just feel I've got to make a mention about byron helping me out at training. I knew he'd do a good job because you only have to look at his own dog to see how well he's done with him, although not happy to know the dogs did really well when I wasn't there!

The improvements we saw in the dogs on Monday night compared to week 1 was incredible, everyone has certainly been doing their homework!
Just remember that it does take time and patience, but consistent training will pay off.
Small progress is better than no progress, it’s all the little wins that eventually lead to the big win!

We’re looking forward to seeing how everyone progresses over the next few weeks and then the fun can start with retrieving!

Evening all,

Fantastic turn out on Monday, unfortunately the weather wasn’t true to the forecast.

As of this Monday (17/4/23) we will be starting training at 6.30pm with the nights being lighter later sooner than we expected.

Weather forecast is showing that the rain will have stopped before we start this evening so don’t let it put you off.
We will still be there at 6pm, just make sure you dress appropriately as it is forecasted to be strong winds.
