Compulsory Cat Microchipping Reminder

By June this year, it will be compulsory for ALL pet cats in England to be microchipped

Any owned cat over the age of 20 weeks must be microchipped with the owners contact details registered on a compliant database. If you have not had your cat, microchipped by the 10th June 2024 you could be fined up to £500

If your cat is already microchipped, make sure to check all of your contact details are up to date.

Please call reception on 01502 578999 to book in for microchipping with one of our nurses or if you would like to check the details on your cats microchip.

This is our own Wangford Vets cat, Billy.
Billy is 20 ½ year old and we all love him dearly. He has lived here with us for as long as I can remember and we would never want to lose him.
