Good morning everyone!

It is with a heavy heart that I unfortunately have to announce that due to exceptional circumstances beyond my control I am having to take a break from grooming with immediate effect 💔 I am ever so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause for anyone, I’m pretty sure I’ve contacted all my future bookings to let them know but apologies if I’ve missed anyone! I’ll be sure to let you all know when I’m back at it - hopefully not for too long!

⚡️IMPORTANCE OF DE-SHEDDING⚡️

De-shedding is the physical removal of a dogs loose undercoat. Multiple tools/products are used in this process dependant on your dogs coat.

De-sheds are performed on double coated breeds (such as Labradors, Huskies etc).

The core benefit of this is that it facilitates the natural shedding process. It also prevents painful matting and hot spots, and helps with blood circulation, all while keeping your dogs coat healthy.

❌MYTH - shaving/clipping your double coated dog will keep them cool in summer❌

Your dogs undercoat provides thermoregulation - basically acts like a thermos, keeping your dog cool in summer and warm in winter. So shaving the undercoat reduces this insulating effect.
