Truffle- this poor little girl came into our care around 3 weeks ago and is really struggling with her life being turned upside down. She was an owned cat but her owner's poor health meant she could no longer care for her. She is around 11 years old and has been used to living as the only cat in a quiet home. To prevent her as much stress as possible and to give her the best opportunity to settle into a new home, we would be looking for a home where she would be the only pet in an adult only home. She is currently very scared and will swipe out of fear if you try to touch her, so she will need a kind patient owner who is happy to give her as much time as she needs to settle in. If you may be interested in offering Truffle a home then please email us to tell us about yourself and your home.

Heathcliff needs a patient and understanding home. He became very stressed in his previous home, we believe he didn't cope with being left alone for long periods of time and being an indoor only cat didn't suit his needs. We hope to find him a home where his owner will be around most of the time and where he can have access to outside in a safe area. He will also need to be the only cat in the home.
Heathcliff loves to play in the morning and have a cuddle at night and has never shown any aggression.

Cupid is still looking for an adult only home, where he can have access to outside after his settling in period. This will need to be a safe area away from any busy roads. He was previously living rough and although is a little unsure of people he desperately wants to make friends. He does get scared easily and will swipe at times if he gets worried however with time this behaviour will likely reduce or disappear. He is estimated to be around 2 years old.

*Adopted* Kevin desperately wants a new home. He was taken to the vets as a stray a couple of weeks ago. He was chipped and neutered but his details weren't up to date so we don't know where his owner is. The chip didn't even have his name or age on. The vets said he was young, so we estimated 2-4 years. Today whilst transferring his chip into our name we discovered the implant date was Jan 2016! This would make him 9! Either he is doing extremely well for his age, or there was an error when his chip was registered. Either way, he's gorgeous, affectionate, playful, not bothered by my cat friendly dogs, could also live with another chilled cat.

If you would like to give Kevin the home he deserves, please complete an enquiry form https://forms.gle/HtVo9pYXojVwwzzq7 πŸ’š

Noone has contacted us about this young chap. He's now neutered and microchipped. Our guess is he's around a year old and never lived in a house before. He certainly doesn't know what a litter tray is. Would anyone be will to give him a stable/farm/outside home?

*Update, he wasn't microchipped but is now. Hes only young, maybe a year.*

Entire male, can't check for a chip yet, doubt he's got one. He's been hanging around Carrel Road Gorleston for a couple of months. Finally managed to catch him today. Anyone know him?

**EDIT- Now in a foster home! But still awaiting his forever home! **
We're desperate to find the lovely Heathcliff either a foster home or permanent home as soon as possible! He came into our care as he couldn't cope with being left alone when his previous owner went to work. He craves company and being alone affected him extremely badly-causing stress induced urinary issues and then later biting himself which resulted in an operation. We are now worried about him spending too long in the cat pens and it having a detrimental effect on him.
We would like to avoid any homes that have existing cats as we really want to avoid any likely stress. Foster homes but must be indoor only, but for his permanent home, it would benefit him to be able to have access to outside. He is a lovely boy so please contact us if you think you may be able to offer him the perfect home

A kind member of the public found a poorly looking cat today and contacted us for advice. Photo is where she was found. First port of call should always be the nearest vets, to get checked over and scanned for a chip. She wasn't chipped and they were told to put her back. Luckily they didn't and called us back, so we advised taking to another vet we trusted. There they examined her and found some awful injuries, she must have been in agony. We decided the kindest thing from a welfare perspective was to euthanase.

We do understand that vets are not boarding catteries, and that despite it now being law to microchip cats people still aren't, but when an animal is clearly unwell and needs care, it should not be simply placed back where it's found.

Anyway, I'm sorry if this was your cat. She was a tortie. If you think she might have been yours and you would like her back, please pm and we will advise you where she is resting x
