💥 Fireworks 💥
We’re at that time of year again where fireworks seem to be a nightly thing all the way through to next year!
If your pet is suffering we have some fantastic, natural options to help…

💥 Pet Remedy

Pet Remedy works with the pet’s own natural calming mechanisms by mimicking GABA (gamma amino butyric acid) which is a natural calming agent present in all mammals, reptiles, and birds.

Can we please remind customers to pick up their dog poo!!
Not only have we had someone trod in some just outside the shop entrance, we’ve also found a large pile on top of the ivy at the bottom of our carpark.
We know sometimes you can be caught short, in the case that you are then please ask for a bag and we will happily provide one.

Interesting read from Ingenious Probiotics!

⚠️ Study shows dog itchy skin linked with indoor pollutants ⚠️

We have talked often about the connection between chemicals in the home and skin problems – mostly in pets, but in people too.

If you ever wondered why, then this study on Canine Atopic Dermatitis (CAD) that shows a clear connection between indoor air pollutants and dog skin issues is a must read for you.

This study, funded by the Korean Ministry of Education and approved by the Animal Ethics Committee, shows how particulate pollutants can break through the skin and cause a damaging effect at gene and DNA level in the skin that results in the irritation and itching issues that we are all so unfortunately familiar with.

Higher levels of VOCs and particulate matter pollution (dust and other particulates) were recorded in the homes of the dogs with CAD, compared to the homes of those without skin problems.

So how do we help with this issue?
Luckily, the Provilan cleaning range is powered by probiotics rather than harsh chemicals. So, not only does this reduce the VOC exposure for you and your pets but it also works to reduce the organic waste that makes up the dust and bio allergens that can be part of the skin problems.
