Meet "Cap" our new addition to the riding school!!
Super Cutie🥰🥰lots of pony cuddles this afteenoon!
Will give him time to settle but he seems very happy in his new home!!!

So a little delayed in posting🙄
What an amazing day we had here at the yard on Monday just wanted to say a masive thankyou to all that attended the show you all made so much effort and looked so well turned out!!
I decided i wanted to be out on the field this time and judged the childrens classes,aww who knew it would be so so hard 🤣 but i absolutely loved it,thankyou all for being so cute!!
A massive thankyou to Emma Holland you did a fantastic job of looking after the main ring great feedback from all!!
So roll on the next one i think we will aim for another in October half term if weather is on our side!!

Its show day!!!!
Weather is looking nice and calm so let the fun begin!!
All parking on the back field to the right as you drive onto the field.
Warm up area to the right also at the bottom near the school fence.
Showjumping on the left at the bottom and main show ring infront of that.
Unfortunately i have decided not to run the childrens ridden classes as no entries unless anybody enters this morning!

Grove Farm Liveries is now officially a licensed riding establishment!!
Spaces still available.

Group lessons 45 mins-£25
Individual 30 mins-£30
Own ponies £5 off each lesson price.
Hacks approx 1 hour walk-£15 perfect for holiday makers bring lunch and make an afternoon of it.
All abilities welcome.

We are doing an offer of buy 4 lessons upfront get the 5th free.

Job Opportunity!!!!

Due to expanding and opening as a riding school we are looking for an enthusiastic person to help with the running of the riding school.
Would suit a teenager who is able to organise the day to day running of getting the ponies ready for lessons.
Daily tasks:
Fetching in
Groom
Tacking up for lessons
Ensuring ponies are out on time for lessons.
Looking after horses after lessons ie washing off,injury checks,turn back out.
Ensuring ponies are looked after throughout the day hay,water and skipped out.
Requirements:
Reliable
Punctual
Can work on their own and as a team
Follow instruction
Polite
Social

This is a paid role daily rate will be disscussed age,experience etc.
Main days Sat/Sun 9:30ish till finish around 3:30 depending on how busy we are.

Very excited to announce we passed the inspection earlier in the week yay!!
To gain a 4 star rating i just need to add a few tweaks to be up and running safely for everyone.
Aiming to be starting start of July so if anyone is interested in booking lessons i can take interest and start to get a diary together,message Name,age and ability so we can have same standard riders on each lesson.
I will also be doing a grand opening offer of buy 4 lessons upfront and recieve the 5th for free i will have stamp cards for this.
Lessons are
£25 group 45 mins
£20 group own pony £45 mins
£30 individual/£25 own horse
Hacks 1 hour £15 (just walk) great if you want to just have a ride out,birthdays,holiday makers etc.

I am currently on the look out for a casual member of staff to join us here at Grove Farm Liveries.
I need somebody experienced and proffesional as my yard is run to a high standard i treat all my liveries like they are my own!
We have a varied bunch bloods,breds,youngsters oh and a Murray!!! So i need somebody who can cope with all types,they are all very well behaved(most days😬)but need somebody that can handle any problems that may arise!!
You need to be:
Reliable
Punctual
Social(my owners are a fab bunch)
Sole charge
Clean and tidy
Fit and healthy

Main tasks:
Feed
Hay in field
Turnout
Muckout,haynets and waters
Poo pick
Fetch in,feet picked out horses checked over and rug changes.
Hours:
8-4ish(finish)Full day and
possible afternoon cover too,depends on if the horses are living in or out.

Must have own freelance insurance Grooms Association or similar.

Some very exciting news!!
I have decided to expand and alongside the liveries to run a riding school.
We are based New Waltham Grimsby.
I will be offering indivual half hour lessons and 45 minute Group lesson of 4 riders for begginers/novice riders.
Lessons will mainly be at a weekend,some availability in the week for adults and in school holidays.
I will be aiming on begining this new venture mid-late March when licence is issued so anyone interested in booking lessons i can take names and numbers and start creating abit of a diary!
I have years of experience teaching at Weelsby Park Riding School and teach "The Woodhead Way"so standards are very high.
Also availability for you to bring your own horse for lessons too.
I am also looking for anyone who maybe interested in putting safe,sane and sensible horses or ponies on a working livery to be used on lessons.

Lesson Rates-
Half Hour individual lessons £30
45 min Group lessons £25
