The super proud face of a Lola that is bossing her sessions each week 💪

When Lola first came to us, she was a touch uncertain and needed a lot of reassurance. Fast forward a few weeks and she has graduated to being in the treadmill on her own AND doesn't need any interventions to stop her standing on the front bar! This is huge for Lola.

Mum, Dad and I are also seeing some great muscle gain from Lola too which is superb and our ultimate goal for her.

Well done girly 🥰 keep it up! You are smashing this.

If you would like to see your pets confidence grow, as well as their muscle and strength, why not contact us to have a chat about what we can do to help?

I'm going to lay in this corner and hope that Charlotte cannot get to me! 🤣

Santo here is a cheeky chappy that has our Physio Charlotte crawling around the floor after him because he doesn't like to lay still. Is this a problem for us? Absolutely not!

We are patient led here at HydroPet and we will do whatever we need to to accommodate your beautiful pets. Whether this be crawling around at their level, giving them time to settle or just taking it slow and steady, we can accommodate whatever they need. This is something we plan for in our diary slots.

Oh hey there, I'm Frank 👋

Nikki has had the absolute pleasure of meeting Frank over the last couple of weeks. Frank has started attending Hydrotherapy due to a period of rest causing stiffness and general mobility issues. This can happen in the older patients and is why, as a team, we advocate for keeping moving little and often than strict rest!

Frank has attended 2 sessions now after his initial assessment and he is doing so very well! Mum has already started to notice a difference which is amazing 🥰

Keep up the good work Frank!!

If you have an older patient who just seems a bit stiff and slow, why not reach out to us and see how we can help them get back to some better mobility.

Say hello to Otis!!😊

Otis has something called Short Radius Syndrome where the radius bone of the forelimb is shorter than it should be due to a disturbance in bone growth. 🦴

He had this surgically fixed with an implant when he was younger and has very minimal problems from this, but hydrotherapy is super useful for maintenance. It also ensures he is used to it for later in life if this begins to cause him more issues.
Otis is no stranger to water and ABSOLUTELY loves it!

Safe to say he made quite a splash with Chloe and he certainly is full of beans, he doesn’t let his condition bother him and is such a trooper!!💪🏼

Keep up the good work, we can’t wait to work more with you Otis you crazy, gorgeous boy!🩵

Just look at that squishy face 😍

Everybody please welcome Frankie G ❤️

Frankie had his initial assessment yesterday. He has had an operation on his spine (hemilaminectomy) due to a disc bursting causing pressure on his spinal cord. Frankie is 6 weeks post surgery and showing some promising signs. It will be a long road to recovery for Frankie and not for the faint hearted but we can just tell that Frankie's parents will do absolutely everything for him 🥰

We are looking forward to working with you Frankie 🥰

This golden oldie is Samson🥰

Due to his age, Samson has some arthritis which is being managed with monthly injections at the vets. To keep on top of weight management to ensure his joints are as comfortable as possible, he has started attending hydrotherapy on a Thursday.

Samson is an absolute superstar in the pool and absolutely loves swimming for his tennis ball 🎾 He is so eager to swim, Phoebe has to hold onto his harness to stop him from jumping in🤣 What a superstar⭐️

If you think your pet may be suffering from arthritis in their old age, please don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected]

Our beautiful Wednesday😍✨

After attending hydrotherapy for 10 weeks now we are very pleased with her progress, she has had her ups and downs but she always powers through💪🏼 Wednesday has been coming to see Phoebe for hydrotherapy and although we have seen improvements, her pain levels were still not 100% controlled.

This is where Charlotte, our physiotherapist comes in to lend a helping hand. Wednesday has started having laser therapy and massage with Charlotte and this has already significantly reduced her pain levels! Phoebe has seen improvements in her physical abilities in the water just after 1 physiotherapy session which is great!

Wednesday is a prime example of us being able to utilise all the clinical tools we have to offer, to get the best outcome for your beloved pets❤️ If you think your pet could benefit from hydrotherapy or physiotherapy, please email us at [email protected]

Welcome to all our new followers ❤️
It's been a little while since we have done this so we thought now would be a good time to reintroduce the team to you all.

Meet the team! 🥰

Hello, I am Clara.

I am the lead Acupuncturist at HydroPet, currently offering acupuncture and laser acupuncture services for the animals that don’t tolerate needles very well.

I have been a Veterinary Surgeon for 13 years and hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Ophthalmology and further qualifications in exotic animals and wildlife medicine.
I studied Veterinary Acupuncture in 2024 through the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists and have been practicing since, seeing a variety of cases and species (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and even some reptiles!).

I have 2 cats, Mimitos and Clarita, who I rescued 11 years ago.

The thing I love the most about acupuncture is the chance of helping animals when medicine alone is not enough and to relieve animals from their pain. It is very rewarding to see the improvement in quality of life they experience and the difference that a few needles can make.

I am available most days of the week for appointments both at the Grimsby and at the Immingham practice, come give acupuncture a try!

Meet the team 🙂

Hi, I’m Charlotte!

I have been a registered veterinary nurse (RVN) for nearly 5 years now. Before coming into the veterinary industry, I worked in Equine welfare and rescue for several years.
I've always had a passion for rehabilitation and supporting patients with chronic conditions. So physiotherapy feels like the prefect fit for me. I completed a Nurse Certificate in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation with Improve International a few years ago. Since then, I have really enjoyed being able to help a variety of patients, and be part of the Hydropet team.
I am now studying to become a Veterinary Physiotherapist.

At home, I have a dog, 5 cats and 4 horses! Yes, I'm a crazy animal lady! I compete my horse's in Endurance - competitive long distance riding.
