HydroPet Fitness and Rehabilition Centre A new fitness and rehabilitation centre for your pets based in central Grimsby. We are an animal Hydrotherapy Centre built for fitness and rehabilitation.

We are run by 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses who have completed the SEG Level 3 Award in Hydrotherapy. We have both aquatic treadmill and a hydrotherapy pool with jets to accommodate your patients needs. Please note, we cannot accept patients without a veterinary referral form. 🌟 G I Z M O 🌟

Gizmo has been coming to see Chloe ‘almost’ every week for over a year now without fail! Poor Gizmo had spinal surgery in the summer of 2024 and his chances of full recovery were looking relatively slim.

Although he is not quite up and about walking full on land YET, he is still getting stronger week in week out!

He’s on a diet to help shift some pounds to help him be able to get standing again but as you can see from his videos his movements are getting stronger and stronger, he has an alternating treatment programme of pool sessions for cardio work and treadmill to get those back legs engaged💪🏼

Another lovely
drying robe we’ve seen over the last couple of weeks! Chloe couldn’t help but get a photo of little Lexi in her dinosaur get up - just too cute!

Drying robes / fleeces really help to keep our patients warm and snuggly after their sessions, preventing their muscles becoming tight or tensing, this in turn prevents stiffness occurring immediately post session. This is super important with it being so chilly at present❄️

Lexi was ‘thrilled’ to be modelling her outfit🙄 (she actually really wanted to get out the door, she’s a busy girl with a hectic schedule - lots to be doing!😂)

Hello I'm Vinnie 👋

Vinnie here is our newest member to Hydrotherapy. He attended his initial assessment on Monday with Nikki and student therapist Jayde 🥰

Vinnie had spinal surgery in September. He was not very sure on the treadmill but thrived in the pool and swam his little legs off ❤️

We cannot wait to work with you more Vinnie!

ADVANCED NOTICE FOR HYDROTHERAPY CLIENTS 🛑🚨

There will be no pool sessions the week commencing 15th December whilst we do our annual deep clean of the pool.
This means that sessions will be limited this week and we will not be able to offer the extra appointment slots.

We will then be closed completely the week commencing 22nd December.

The week commencing 29th December we only have one therapist in (Chloe) Monday - Wednesday, so appointments are limited.

If you are unsure about your sessions, please reach out and confirm with us.

Rupert🐾

Gorgeous Rupert has started coming to see us to aid his rehabilitation after a spinal injury. He’s a bit timid and can be quite worried but here at Hydropet we take baby steps and are very patient led, with some gentle persuasion and encouragement he’s coming out of his shell and doing so well!

Well done Rupert, keep it up clever boy!!❤️

Look at that happy face!

Luna here is one of our OG's (original patients) and attends every other week for sessions due to old age changes. Due to a malfunction with the treadmill, Luna had a pool session and she actually really enjoyed herself 🥰

Sometimes changing things up can be good! Previously Luna would panic and freak out with the water in the pool but it just goes to show how desensitisation in the treadmill can work wonders.

A special thank you to Phoebe for also filling in last minute ❤️

Meet Oakley🤎🤎🤎

This handsome brown bear is coming to see Phoebe on a Thursday to help cope with his arthritis through the winter. Oakley is doing really well and isn’t on any medication for his arthritis yet, despite being nearly 12 years old!! What a superstar.
