**FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS**

The service to commemorate the passing of Sue Smith will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 28th March 2025 at 3pm (Weelsby Avenue, Grimsby, DN32 0BA).

Mourning attire is optional, but not mandatory. Bright colours are welcome. The family requests that you wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

For those wishing to join the family following the service, we will be celebrating her life at Waltham Royal British Legion, Barnoldby Road, Waltham, DN37 0JR

In lieu of flowers there will be a donation box with all proceeds going to Bliss Cavalier Rescue

We are heartbroken to have to announce the passing of our Mum Sue, on Sunday 2nd March 2025 at around 12:15am.

Mum was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer in July 2024 and began treatment a short time after. She battled and fought so bravely and with such positivity and strength, however an infection developed towards the end of last year which was exasperated following her last bout of Chemotherapy 10 days ago.

Last weekend Mum became incredibly ill and was admitted to Hospital with breathing difficulties caused by the infection. We have spent much of the last week by her side as she continued to fight, but her condition deteriated day by day.

Ever the protective Mother she insisted we went home yesterday evening at 9pm having been with her since she woke up for the final time. We think she knew she could no longer fight this cruel and horrible disease and she didn't want us to see her lose.

No words or actions can never express how much we love her and how much she meant to us. We are forever grateful for being blessed with such a wonderful, kind and beautiful Mum who has been taken from us far sooner than she ever deserved 💔
