There are advantages to working from home. Don't need the heating on as the dogs just pile on top of me.

Max one of Charlies besties headed home at lunch. We headed out for a walk last night with All things good & nice. Max usually stays for his holidays in the summer month. He acted very strangely and just wouldn't walk. After loosing my head torch & bunny hopping Max for 100 meters, I gave up & headed back to the car & visited Tom & Molly instead. I messaged Max's mummy and found out he is on occasions scared of the dark. Bless him.

On the 6 December 2014 I have been in business for a whole 10 years. Walked 1000s of miles, got through 1000s of poo bags & worn my hips out, met some fabulous clients & their dogs, cried many tears when dogs have passed over the rainbow bridge,but I wouldn't change a thing.

95% of the dogs in my care have been with me since puppies, although they are not perfect neither am I.

I'm 10 years older but in my head I'm 21 lol, although my body work could do with a refurb( need to win the lottery lol)

Christmas will soon be upon us. My last day at work will be 20 December, I will be reopening on 2 January 2025.
The last year has flown by. If any of my clients have holidays planned for 2025 please let me know asap.

It's been a very busy week. Time to put my feet up & enjoy the weekend as it will soon be Monday again lol. Like to mix our walks up by visiting the beach, walks in the Freshney valley & a visit to Brigg garden centre with with pooches & grandchildren in tow. Would thoroughly recommend Brigg Garden Centres dog friendly cafe.

It's been a busy week. Lottie headed home yesterday. Shes been so much fun & kept the grandchildren entertained. Now time to have a few days off & a lay in atleast till 8 lol.

After contracting a virus at the beginning of last week & sleeping for 48 hours solid,having to cancel day care for two days, I'm.back to fighting fit. Thank you daughter Hayley for looking after the pooches while I slept & bringing me emergency food & medication.

After two early walks with the pooches resisting going out the rain we are having a duvet day. Heating is on, dogs all chilled out. Paperwork & tax return to fill in, it's my favourite job, NOT lol.

Haven't been at the back of Morrisons for ages due to the harvesting & muck spreading. The dogs just love to roll in anything poo related. Met up with Elaine & Juno. Lovely to have a catch up..

Back into work mode after a long weekend in Plymouth visiting my brother. It was an epic journey home train hopping(that's another story).

Up at 6am, then out at 7 to walk Rosie, Herbie & Stanley. Don't take Charlie on the first walk as although most think he's pawfect but he's very excitable & barks for 30 seconds very loudly lol. I dont want to wake the street up(he only does it with me)

Second walk with Charlie & Rafa, then off I trotted to pick up Mr Grumpy face aka Orlo.

I have had numerous enquries over the past few days regarding boarding for next year, I need to maintain a work/life balance so I will not be taking on any new clients.

I felt a bit under the weather this am. Self inflicted after having the girls around for tea & gin. Those who know me I'm a light weight were drinking is concerned. The pooches seemed to know I was feeling fragile. Didn't manage to feel human by the afternoon so trotted off to the beach. Didn't want to waste such a beautiful day. Thanks Noreen & Patch for your company. Xx

Haven't posted for a few days. I like to mix the
walks from beach walks - path walks - country strolls followed by coffee shop stops.
90% of the dogs in my care have been with me since puppies & are getting to be senior dogs now. In the afternoons we have plenty of chill time. I am also partial to the occasional nana nap lol.

I've been off grid for a while as I have been on my holidays with my grandchildren & my bestie Mel. Lovely holiday now back into work mode.

Took.the dogs out first thing. Let them off lead as per usual at the rear of Morrisons. There was a whiff in the air but just thought the fair had been muck spreading. Got over the hill & Rosie, Charlie & Rafa saw the huge pile of poo. Managed to get Rafa & Charlie on lead. Rosie was running around it like a looney, rolling in the sh*t and just wouldn't come back to me. It was like something from a carry on film. The air was blue. She wore herself out and jumped in the river. I didn't mind that as she was stinky. She came out the river & sat by my feet. Attached to her tail was fishing line & hook. I managed to get it out thank goodness.

No harm done only to my finger I managed to prick myself. There is a joke there lol.

Toddled off to pick my favourite border up. No drama there as he didn't see the cat sitting the other side of the road. Time for a large coffee I think & it certainly won't be decaf.

After the busiest weekend of the year it's time for the pooches to start heading home after their holidays today & tomorrow.Looking forward to my time off at the end of the week.

After a lovely walking this am disaster. I dropped my phone whilst loading the dogs in the car & didn't realise. Full on panic mode, then thought " no ones died. With the help Julie I managed to cancel my cards. Note to self don't put debit cards in the phone.

4.5 hours later after calming down with a coffee or three, I popped out & when I got home there was a lovely note & my phone in the letter box.Just blummin fabulous. Going to see her tomorrow to thank her in person.

Hopefully the day can only get better from now.

It's been a very busy week but I must say all of the dogs have been fantastic. Lots of early morning walks due to the heat. So need a lay in until 7 atleast

It's the busiest time of the year coming up .Although I have cut back on the boarding & aren't taking on any new clients, daycare still keeps me busy.

All the dogs get on so well but don't get me wrong like children they do have their moments. I have had to raise my voice or put them into time out lol.

Wide awake at 5am for no reason at all. Pooches didn't even move when I got up for a cuppa. Out at 0645 on my first walk of the day. Then toddled off to pick Orlo up with Pheebs & Rafa in tow. The house is soo quiet until someone comes to the door, then all hell breaks loose lol.

Super proud of this pack this am. All have been with me since they were pups. All have great doggy manners & are a credit to their mums & dads. Pre walk treat. Charlie, Orlo, Scamp, Peggy, Ozzy & Rosie.

Wow thank you Elaine for organising our mammoth dog meet yesterday for our dear friend Kim Flint who is in hospital at the moment. We all miss you & the boys. Sending lots of love xx
