What a beautiful day. Love nothing better on my day off than to get up early, meet friends & go for a lovely walk with our pooches. Of course a coffee stop at Suzies is mandatory.

It's a beautiful but cold day. Now all snuggled up in the warmth. I love the winter for the calmer pace of life.

Late walk this am due to the blummin rain. Managed a beach walk & our usual visit to Suzies. Beach piccies weren't very good managed to catch Stan & Charlie having a poo lol. Back home now, heating on and snuggled up.

A very happy & healthy New Year to you all.

I've had two weeks off & I need another two weeks off to recover from the Christmas festivities.
Have a slow phased return to work, back to normal next week.
Lovely walk to Cleethorpes with Mel, Isla, Izzy, Orlo & Charlie.

Bring on the weekend as It's been the busiest week since September.
Next week it's count down to some time off. I'm knackered but I must admit all the dogs have been fabulous. People always ask " do they all get on" 95% of the time they do, but like kids they have their moments but with a firm vocal telling off they fall into line pretty quickly.After their morning walks they just chill & relax until home time or the Amazon delivery turns up lol 😆

6 December 2014 was the day I received my first council boarding license, where has that time gone? Life's challenges over the years have been difficult, but I am in a good place now & finally feel happy with my work/life balance( I'm a slow learner )

10 years on I have a few more wrinkles, aches & pains but I'm still in business which I am grateful for. Unfortunately this year has been a difficult time for a few of my clients & friends who's dogs have trotted over the rainbow bridge. Our dogs are loved family members & they leave a huge hole in our lives & our hearts.

Thank you all for your support & entrusting me to look after your dogs, it's been a blast x

Its a diary update evening. Looking at my 2025 diary I am already full. February/March/July / August & September.

I will contacting daycare clients over the next few days with my own holiday dates for 2025.

It's been a quiet few weeks on the boarding front by choice, ( needed to recharge my batteries after a busy summer).but this weekend I'm super busy. Ozzie the big goldendoodle goof ball arrived & has already settled in. He's huge but such a good boy. 95% of the dogs in my care have been with my since they were puppies, so they are happy and relaxes & after their walks just like chill. Good job there's a few good films on Netflix as the weather's atrocious.

Winter has arrived & so have the winter viruses. 48 hours of feeling like cr*p now back to normal thank goodness.
48 hours in laying on the couch feeling sorry for myself did the trick.
Charlie never left my side bless him..Just have to teach him to make a cuppa lol.

There are advantages to working from home. Don't need the heating on as the dogs just pile on top of me.

Max one of Charlies besties headed home at lunch. We headed out for a walk last night with All things good & nice. Max usually stays for his holidays in the summer month. He acted very strangely and just wouldn't walk. After loosing my head torch & bunny hopping Max for 100 meters, I gave up & headed back to the car & visited Tom & Molly instead. I messaged Max's mummy and found out he is on occasions scared of the dark. Bless him.

On the 6 December 2014 I have been in business for a whole 10 years. Walked 1000s of miles, got through 1000s of poo bags & worn my hips out, met some fabulous clients & their dogs, cried many tears when dogs have passed over the rainbow bridge,but I wouldn't change a thing.

95% of the dogs in my care have been with me since puppies, although they are not perfect neither am I.

I'm 10 years older but in my head I'm 21 lol, although my body work could do with a refurb( need to win the lottery lol)

Christmas will soon be upon us. My last day at work will be 20 December, I will be reopening on 2 January 2025.
The last year has flown by. If any of my clients have holidays planned for 2025 please let me know asap.

It's been a very busy week. Time to put my feet up & enjoy the weekend as it will soon be Monday again lol. Like to mix our walks up by visiting the beach, walks in the Freshney valley & a visit to Brigg garden centre with with pooches & grandchildren in tow. Would thoroughly recommend Brigg Garden Centres dog friendly cafe.

It's been a busy week. Lottie headed home yesterday. Shes been so much fun & kept the grandchildren entertained. Now time to have a few days off & a lay in atleast till 8 lol.

After contracting a virus at the beginning of last week & sleeping for 48 hours solid,having to cancel day care for two days, I'm.back to fighting fit. Thank you daughter Hayley for looking after the pooches while I slept & bringing me emergency food & medication.
