Just a quickie.....look at this gorgeous girlie from today....'Margot' is such a character....in desperate need for her groom today, but (Mummy hasn't been well)....she is a long-haired rough coated Dachs...we have groomed her since being a pup....just love the character in her face, its taken a year to get that beard!!!!!...different coloured eyes too....see you soon 'Margot' 🐶❤️

Another lovely day today.....in fact we've had a great week!...lots of cuddles, hugs & licks...can't beat it....we have 'Barkley' watching his brother being groomed and doesn't know whether he is a dog or a seal! 🤣....then we have 'Bertie' who has progressed to having a full groom with no worries and sooooo relaxed today....excellent work 'Berts' 👏...then just look at 'Cookie' looks like he's wearing earphones, he gets so excited to see us, drags his Mummy in and loves coming to the Salon for his 6 weekly groom.....🐶❤️

Alot of activity today...😂 but had to show and share this newby in the Salon today...'Duggie' the Cockerpoo is around a year old, he has been groomed previous to us, he was extremely well behaved, although he is a very timid little lad and felt very nervous when he first arrived...his Mummy left and he settled like a champ, he loved his bath and pamper (just look at those eye lashes!), it was a while since he was groomed so he was in great need but I think you will agree he looked relaxed and happy after his groom (wish i had taken a before picture now 🙄)...Mummy & 'Duggie' left happy, that's what we like...Happy dogs and happy owners 5⭐️....see you in 8 weeks 'Dugs'...🐶❤️ #

Gorgeous 'Nala' in today for her wash & blowdry, including a good de-shedding, she is a German Pointer X Labrador (also gives us a good chance to spot any unexpected pesky grass seeds which are prevalent at this time of year)...hairy for us, but she felt and looked a champ after her groom....Good girlie 'Nala' 🐶❤️

Hello, my name is 'Gizmo'..I have been with present family since 2019, I hated the groomers, I would snarl, bite and kick off if they touched me....my owners even got me some calming pills to help with my anxiety but I would still play up! They did muzzle me too. They thought that would stop me, but nope!...Auntie Deb's & Uncle Kev never once shouted at me or got annoyed, they just had patience, perseverance and time to calm me, it's taken a while for me to trust a groomer and know that they won't hurt me....I now have no medication, no muzzle...I think you will agree I actually enjoy it now and I always leave Top Dog Grooming Salon looking and smelling gorgeous and of course happy....🐶❤️

Hi, I'm 'Jasper' a Springer Spaniel and I am in my elderly years, I'm feeling cool, clean and now refreshed.....my legs are not too good and they are stiff and I do struggle to stand for long periods of time but I still enjoy my pamper session.
Auntie Deb & Uncle Kev are always aware and they let me relax and enjoy my full groom, I am never forced to do anything if I feel I can't!....as you will see I love ❤️ it....I Love Top Dog too 🐾🐾....thank you for being kind 😇....video in the comments

'Sapper' enjoying his second time in the Salon today....he is a very needy doggie and loves his mum, but he settles and enjoys every moment....he went out smelling and looking very handsome.....🐶❤️

'Kopa' is looking great and refreshed after a good summer haircut this time in the Salon 😍....a tick found too 🕷 and successfully removed and disposed of....please keep checking your furry friends, it's awful this time of year and often go unseen by owners, again another reason to get you pooches in for their regular grooms.....believe me we find everything 🤣....also thank you everyone that has supported us with our price increase, we really do appreciate it....🐶❤️

I meant to say Poppy is one doggie that travels a long way to get her groom, she lives in Scarborough....we have one that lives in Scotland and another that joins us from Germany....lovely to have customers that want and trust us with their furry family.....🐶❤️

Hi everyone….
After a very long weekend of deliberations, discussions and decisions we are sorry to announce to you that we have no alternative but to increase our grooming prices, there now will be an increase of £2.50 per dog starting from 1st AUGUST 2024, we would not be able to continue if we didn’t increase our prices, we have tried to keep them down but unfortunately we can not - we therefore do apologise and we thank you for your continued support …..Much love Deb’s & Kev xx (Team Top Dog) 🐶❤️

'Walter' in today for his wash, brush up and a trim with a nail clip which of course is included in our full grooming price....Walter can suffer with an allergy to his skin so we treat and groom accordingly....Baby Shampoo, no conditiong spray, no finishing off spray and certainly no treats unfortunately!..Sorry Wally!....he is a very energetic young man but loves his groom and he will insist you keep holding his hand (paw) 😂 bless him....gorgeous boy, see you soon 'Walter' 🐶❤️

What a cutie!....Gorgeous 'Buddy' came in today for his 1st groom in the Salon, although his owners are not new to us as we did their other 2 dogs that unfortunately passed over rainbow bridge, it's lovely to know they trust us with their new baby (Thank You)... so important to introduce your puppies to the grooming world at an early age as this will be part of their routine for the rest of their lives.. at only 14 weeks old, he was an absolute star...just look at that face!....see you in 6 weeks Bud. .🐶❤️

Brothers from 'Another Mother'... 'Dougie' Aka 'Doug The Thug' a gorgeous but a mind of his own Double Doodle... and 'Freddie' Aka 'Fredster' a dainty lovable Toy Poodle...they were both in today for their 6 weekly pamper session....Handsome Boys....🐶❤️

Double trouble!...🤣....Great way to end the week with these 2 beauties....gorgeous cockers 'Roger & 'Cookie' they are always a pleasure to groom and so photogenic....although they do not have the same owners they are regulars to the Salon....🐶❤️

One sausage or two?...🌭🌭 🤣...AKA 'Dexter' & 'Wicket'...both enjoying their 6 weekly pamper session....both are rescue Dachshunds (no fault of their own) and they live the life of luxury now bless them 🐶❤️
