I'm on the look out for a suitable training venue for the winter months. Either, an indoor Equestrian or all weather outdoor menage.

I'm fairly flexible but it would be needed a couple of evenings a week and / or a day on a weekend.

Surface must be suitable for dogs to jump (agility) and I'd need to leave equipment somewhere on site.

I'd need parking for 4-5 cars max at a time.

If anyone knows of anything, please let me know. The dogs I work with are lovely and we wouldn't be a nuisance.

🐾 Recall Classes - 4 Week Course 🐾

I'll be running a 4 week course of hourly sessions starting on Saturday 14th September at 12.30pm at North Kelsey and we'll cover the following:

Week 1 - The Theory
Week 2 - The Exercises - Foundations
Week 3 - The Exercises - Advanced
Week 4 - Out & About

A little more information about what you can expect below:

Week 1
🐾 We will cover the theory with plenty of time for Q & A.

Week 2
🐾 We will start with some foundation exercises building the relationship between dog and handler.

Week 3
🐾 We will progress the foundation exercises increasing distraction and distance as well as add in new, more challenging exercises and scenarios.

Week 4
🐾 The last session will be out in 'the real world' so you get an opportunity to put what you've been learning into real life situations with the support of a trainer.

You will be given homework at the end of each session. Participants will also have access to a private training group for additional support between sessions.

Cost is £80 for 4 weeks and is limited to 4 dogs. Full payment due at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

🐾 Puppy Classes 🐾

A 6-week course designed to help puppy develop confidence, life skills and good habits.

Next course starts:
Tuesday 20th August, 6.00pm - 4 spaces

OR

Saturday 14th September, 11:00am

These will be the last puppy training classes for this year.

Cost: £110
Training classes take place outdoors in my large, puppy safe field at North Kelsey so please dress for the British weather.

Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 6 puppies so that everyone can have lots of individual coaching as well as taking part in group exercises.

Little Tinkers only ever uses positive reward based training techniques.

Welcoming a new puppy into your family is always a big adventure - even for seasoned dog owners. Every puppy has a different character and Little Tinkers puppy training classes are designed to help you understand that little personality and develop it as your pup grows into a confident, loving and well behaved adult dog.
In this six week long course, I’ll show you how to manage common puppy behaviours such as biting, chewing and jumping up and I’ll give you lots of tips on toilet training, settling and socialising. We will also be introducing some simple obedience training for recall, loose lead walking, impulse control, and sitting nicely when asked.

Six weeks is never long enough to teach a pup all of the lifeskills they need, but it’s a good start. Once you have completed the course, you might want to join one of our obedience classes and begin working towards your IMDT Partnership Grades.

A little about me! Most of my life Ive had boxer dogs, and as am sure you know boxers can sometimes be a bit of a hand full with their general love of life and everything is something to play with. Training for me did not really start until Bruce came along a lovely little brindle boy. Well it soon became apparent that this little boy was growing. Then came lock down Bruce was in his prime and ready to start exploring the world but of course that could not happen, out on our walks we would have to cross over roads to avoid people and the social interaction he needed we could not give. Not really a problem until lock down was lifted and life returned back to normal. Now with lock down lifted and the parks, fields and walks starting to fill up and with a 40 KG boxer this was all new to him and he wanted to see it all, other people other dogs. He was so overwhelmed he was a nightmare to walk. So my wife took the step and started taking him training to help improve this. After a lot of work she started to get this under control. Then the changing point happened. She came back from training one and said “I've booked Bruce on an agility workshop”. Well this I had to see. So off we went to a field in the middle of no where. Watching my wife and Bruce training agility with the right instructor something clicked and I was hooked. Problem was my wife would not let me run Bruce and spoil all her hard work. So after a bit of sweet talking (well a lot) Arabella (Bella) came to join the family a reverse brindle girl. Well training started for me and Bella and off we went coming across all the normal up and downs of training spending our evening and weekends stood out it the cold. But loving every minute of it. Again it a amazing what a great trainer can do. Then I starting wanting to learn more about the theory and science behind it all so a few courses later and lots of training leads us to today, me and Bella love agility and are starting to enter competitions but with will a long way to go. That’s when I came across scent work. Wanting something I can do with my dogs at home in the garden or just out on a walk and not need to carry a full agility kit with me. That brings me to today a Bronze qualified UK Sniffer Dog instructor.
