Tonight, our volunteers conducted a search along the B1210 (Stallingborough Road) towards Immingham following a report of a deer collision with a vehicle.

Unfortunately, despite a thorough search, we were unable to locate the deer.

If you spot an injured deer, please pull over when safe and legal to do so, then provide us with an exact location using this link:

Thank you!

Why choose HydroPet?

We are a team of 4 veterinary nurses who all hold additional qualifications to offer rehabilitation for your pets.

Nikki has recently received her Level 4 Diploma in Advance Canine Aquatic Treadmill Techniques unit. Phoebe and Chloe both hold Level 3 Diplomas in Canine Hydrotherapy.

Charlotte is currently working towards her Level 6 Diploma in Physiotherapy. Once she has completed this course, she will be allowed to call herself a Physiotherapist. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, Charlotte and the rest of the team were taught basic physiotherapy. Charlotte then went on to do an additional year of study to complete her NCert Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.

Important Notice:

Yesterday, we received concerning information from a badger group regarding reports of individuals door-knocking in Theddlethorpe. These individuals are allegedly asking residents if they have badgers in their gardens, claiming to offer β€œfree vaccinations for badgers.”

The reporting badger group has contacted The Badger Trust, which confirmed they are unaware of any vaccination schemes taking place in this area.

If you encounter such individuals, please take the following precautions:

1. Request identification and, if possible, take a photo of it.
2. Do not disclose any information about badgers or badger setts on your property.

You can then:

1. Share the photo of the ID with your local police force by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency.

2. Alternatively, send the image to us or your local badger group, who may be able to verify their identity or liaise with the Rural Task Force.

Your cooperation is vital in ensuring the safety of badgers!

Thank you!

Gwen here says, did you know that HydroPet also offers acupuncture?

Clara is a Registered Veterinary Surgeon who has completed an Acupuncture Therapy Course. She offers acupuncture in both Grimsby and Immingham.

What is acupuncture you ask?
Acupuncture is the stimulation of sensory nerves under the skin and in muscles using little needles. This can help to relieve pain and stimulate healing.

How many sessions may you need?
This is very much patient dependent, but it is recommended to try a few sessions first to see improvements.

If you feel would like any further information, please do not hesitate to drop us a message or email us at [email protected]

Giving a patient general anaesthesia means that their temperature does drop so we like to keep them nice and warm on recovery🫢

I’m missing my home, please can you help me!😭😒

This lost barn owl is still looking for their owner after being found and taken to Wolds Veterinary Clinic and Surgical Referral Service.

The bird is wearing a ring that is not registered with Independent Bird Register and doesn’t have a microchip.

We’d really like to reunite this bird with their owner as soon as possible. Please like and share this post as much as you can! πŸ‘Œ

If you believe this could be your bird, you MUST provide the ring number, the area where the bird was lost, the date the bird was lost, and paperwork for the owl.

We take our due diligence seriously, and the bird will not be released until all the correct information has been provided. Please understand that our scrutiny is to ensure the bird returns to the correct owner and to prevent false ownership claims.

Ways to contact:

Telephone: 01472 472217
Email: [email protected]

Or contact The Independent Bird Register:
