We are really in need of some of these mud mats for our field , if anyone has some or hasn’t bought the dogs a Xmas present that they plan to get this would be wonderful .

It means they can enjoy more time in the field and we can spend less time on our bums in the mud 😂

Just look at that face 🥹

Say hello to Ginny ❤️

This beautiful little girl has had spinal surgery and has been given the all clear from the vets to start her rehabilitation journey with us 🥰

Ginny was a little unsure but was super brave and we are sure that she will come to love seeing us once she has settled into her sessions.

We look forward to seeing what you can do Ginny 🩷
Welcome to the HydroPet family!

It has come to our attention that unfortunately there has been some speculation about kennel cough being an issue within our practice in Grimsby.

At this current time we have not seen a rise in the cases of Kennel Cough and do not believe the practice is having an issue with this at this time.

We do kindly ask any patient who is suspected to have kennel cough to wait outside of the practice for their appointment to prevent the spread of infection.

If you are concerned that your dog may have kennel cough we would recommend an appointment with your vet.

If your pet is not currently showing signs of kennel cough but regularly mixes with other dogs we would always recommend vaccinating against this. This currently costs £40. While the vaccination does not always stop your dog from developing kennel cough it can reduce the chances of them getting poorly much like the human flu jab.

If you have any concerns please feel free to ring the practice on 01472 240422 / 01472 362821.

This lil Champ has come out the other side of this weeks battle ❤️‍🩹 and can now come home 🙌 We are over the moon to be reunited 💕 He burst the eardrums of everyone in there 😂 squealing with what started as relief to see us , then telling us off for causing him to worry we had left him 😩 This boy has such big feelings , so much personality and we are so very thankful he is back on the mend .

Did you know our Physiotherapist Charlotte has a Laser Therapy Machine?

What is this you ask? 🤔

Well… Laser Therapy reduces inflammation and pain, improving healing and can also be used to manage infected wounds. Laser therapy uses an intense light beam, encouraging healing at a cellular level, increasing blood flow and reducing scar formation. It is great for soothing sore joints and easing discomfort, it can be very beneficial for patients suffering with arthritis, acute or chronic inflammation.

To find out if your pet would benefit from Laser Therapy, please drop Charlotte an email at [email protected]

Elton came in for his kennel cough vaccination this morning and was too cute posing for the camera 📸

Like any vaccine, the kennel cough vaccine doesn’t give 100%, guaranteed protection, however, it does significantly reduce the chance that your dog will catch kennel cough and reduces symptoms if they do catch it.
