Awful that this still goes on 😭

Have you ever seen an advert like this before? It’s extremely concerning to see the increase in people buying pets through social media in this way ⚠️

We are part of the Pet Advertising Advisory Group (PAAG/How To Buy A Pet). This group is made up of animal welfare organisations, trade associations, local authority representatives and veterinary bodies, working together to ensure that pets are advertised for sale in a way that is both legal and ethical.

Recent research shows that 94% of the reviewed pet adverts on social media would not meet the guidelines set out by the group. And worryingly, almost one in five of the reported ads were believed to be scams 😧

PAAG has witnessed a massive increase in the number of pets and animals advertised for sale online. And it’s vital that more is done to protect animal welfare and consumers.

Happy birthday to Ember’s BFF Rosie ❤️
Rosie has just turned 8 today but has been with us since she was 13 weeks old.
Unfortunately Rosie needs surgery on both of her Cruciate Ligaments . So we won’t see her until she’s fully recovered.
We miss her already as she’s such a sweetie and is family.
She’s in some discomfort at the moment but she’s trying to smile through on her birthday

I’m in tears and feel so humbled. This gorgeous young English Setter had a terrible start to life. He’s a rescue from Spain.
His owners have put so much effort into giving this gorgeous boy a better life. He knows nothing but kindness now He’s only known me a few hours but is trusting me already. Dogs have such loving hearts xx❤️❤️

It’s “newbie” day here today.
Margot (labradoodle) and Olive (schnoodle) are here for their first full day of daycare.
Jasper, (Jack Russell) is here for his 4th day this week. Fergus, ( English Setter) is here for a taster day. They are all so lovely and settled so we must be doing something right ❤️😂

Just to confirm our pick up and drop off times please. We try to keep within certain times to reduce disruption to the Dogs, and hence keep barking to a minimum. We can offer some flexibility with prior notice if absolutely necessary.
Monday to Friday
Drop offs 7.30am to 8.15am
Pick ups. 4.00pm to 5.30pm

Weekend and bank holidays
Drop offs 8.30 to 9.30
Collection before 4pm

We have an extra special guest today. Betsy ❤️ Her Mum Sophie, is on maternity leave so we’ve not seen Betsy for a while. She’s one of our original daycare puppies who started daycare at 13 weeks. Betsy has just turned 8. It’s lovely to see her. I also got to see her baby brother Henry and Sophie. Lovely to see them both. Sophie went to school with our daughter Ellen so we’ve known her a long time❤️
