As the weather gets warmer, we are taking all precautions to ensure your dogs stay safe on their walks with us. This includes extra water bottles, walking in well-shaded areas, a cooling mat in the boot of the car and keeping the car well ventilated when unattended. ☀️
The sun being out is a perfect excuse to buy some ice cream!! Couldn’t forget about Digby & Jasper 🍦 💛
Happy Anniversary to us!
A year ago, Dillon and I embarked on our journey of creating an affordable, professional and approachable pet sitting and dog walking company.
Over the year, we’ve met some amazing people and their pets, all of whom were incredibly grateful for; not only entrusting us with caring for their pets, but believing in us and our passion.
Thank you again for all the support and love! Here’s to many more 🥂

Happy New Year 🥂
Dillon and I would thank everyone who’s supported us this year - thus far! Urban Pets is still very new (9 months old!), but we’ve received nothing but positivity and open arms from the very beginning of our venture.
The road hasn’t always been easy and we’ve been presented many challenges, but our love and passion has always been at the forefront of everything we endeavour to do; which I think is apparent in our work.
We started Urban Pets because although there are many great animal carers out there, we knew we could add a special essence to our work, you’re not a client to us - you’re a friend, and your pets are our upmost priority in everything we do.
So, thank you again - from the bottom of our hearts, we’re eternally grateful for what this year has given us.
Here’s to 2024! 🍾

Some of our clients this week 🤍
Unfortunately Percy has had a bad stomach this week, so of course during our house visit, we helped cook his dinner of chicken and rice 🤍
We’ve made small edits to our website, this also includes our Christmas prices. We implore anyone who may need us this Christmas to read our seasonal prices before contacting us.
T has also added Urban Pets News to the website, this is an opportunity to share important news within our business, but also news about current ongoings in the pet world. There are two blogs to read currently, one touches on the subject of our prices & Christmas, whilst the other talks about the importance of being vigilant with food and dangerous substances around the holidays and how they can affect your dog. We’d love for anyone to check it out:

When you thought you were just getting dinner in your bowl 😂
Hungarian Vizslas are very intelligent dogs, they require a lot of physical and mental stimuli every day. From the Pointer family, Vizslas use their nose for EVERYTHING! To keep Percy mentally stimulated at home, we’ve been putting 10% of his lunch in hiding spots, empty buffalo horns and getting him to work for his food through sit, lie down and touch commands. Whilst it seems simple, little things like this make a massive difference opposed to just eating from a bowl everyday.
Looking for a reliable, friendly and fully licensed dog walker?
Urban Pets now has availability for dog walks throughout the week!
We’re fully insured under Pet Business Insurance, First Aid trained and offer a competitive, friendly service to all breeds, great and small.
We’re rated Five Stars from by our regular clients, we build friendships with all our clients and treat you and your pets like family.

Ever seen a cat run on a wheel? This is Storm, she’s our 4-year old Bengal who LOVES to run! This wheel is definitely a conversation starter when people come over, most if not all our guests didn’t even know something like this even existed! We bought this back in 2021 as Bengals are notoriously hyper and somewhat boisterous, our eldest Bengal is more of a sunbather, but Storm is into everything and anything, so we decided to invest in a toy she could play with or without encouragement! It’s been such an amazing tool for her to burn off some of that pent up craziness, and instead of trying to flip our other, bigger cats over to play, Storm now takes herself off to her wheel to run. Here’s a short video of her getting a little too enthusiastic and falling off (unharmed) 🤍
