We have an exciting talk with Veterinary Officer, Lieutenant Megan Oakeley! She will be discussing the role of a Veterinary officer in the first military working dog regiment. This will be a really interesting talk and we hope to see lots of you in lecture theatre one OR online, THIS MONDAY 14th October at 5:30pm! 🐾🦮

Thank you to everyone who came to our ophthalmology talk last night, I hope you found it interesting and a good revision aid! 👁️🐾

Excited to announce our next talk is with Border Force National Detector Dog Team.🐶
They will be coming in to do a live demonstration with a handler and their dog, including using a scent wheel as part of their training, whilst watching detection first hand around the lecture theatre! We’ll also be learning about their daily activities and life on the border force with detection dogs!

David is running an interactive ophthalmology session with us via Teams, which will focus on ophthalmic emergencies. This is a great way to facilitate our ophthalmology teaching in all years of vet school and would be so beneficial to us as future vets! 🐱🐾
