I’m lucky enough to walk in some of Surrey’s most beautiful places so I see a lot of rubbish dumped by people that just couldn’t give a s**t. I do my best to clear some of it up but whoever dumped this used face mask in the hedge is a special kind of, gold medal stupid.

One of the most faithful and dependable dogs you could ever ask for. So much so that we nicknamed him ‘Bomb Proof Ben’ Ben has been part of the Wag ‘n’ Walks family for nearly 10 years.
Today I was told that he has an aggressive melanoma.
He has 1 - 2 months max.
I’m absolutely devastated and heartbroken.
Things won’t be the same without him.
This is the part of the job no one tells you about. 🙁

I’ve already removed more ticks this year than any other but I didn’t even think to look inside our dogs mouths.
Something to watch out for.
Who would think to look there?😯
IF YOU HAVE 🐾DOGS that eat grass, beware that ticks can burrow in the mouth too! Something to keep in mind......

Took the gang to the Arctic Circle today.
From left to right we have Bomb Proof Ben the Lab, our newest member, the adorable Mr Darcy who’s a Goldendoodle. Hugo the amazing Cockerpoo, Louis the, ‘all I want is strokes’ Spaniel and last but not least the hugely affectionate Alfie, the Cockerpoo.

Lots of horses and mountain bikers around today so I’m glad these guys have been paying attention in class. A little control work every now and then keeps my gang and those around us as safe as possible.

As well as making sure they all have fun and get the exercise they need, a large part of my job is making sure that both the dogs and everyone around us are safe. Most people love seeing all the dogs together but not everyone wants to be mobbed by five dogs at once! Today I couldn’t ask for a better behaved group.
