Ralf is the newest member of our pack at home. He is a 5 month old working Cocker Spaniel. He'll be joining my other dogs: Hector, Max and Albert as working gun dogs. He's such a handsome boy I think you'll agree.

It's the time of year when all dog owners need to be aware of grass seed and the problems they can cause dogs.

After every walk check your dogs ears, eyes, fur and between their toes. Grass seed can burrow deep into these areas and cause a lot of damage.

As the temperature rises it is so important to keep an eye on your dog/s and look out for signs of heat stroke. It goes without saying to make sure they always have lots of fresh water and a shady cool area to lie in.
