Our last flash fundraiser for the year is happening this week 🤩
Up for grabs are 3x adult and 1x child tickets to Illuminate Guildford, worth over £50, generously donated by one of our supporters.
The tickets are for 23rd December 2024, entry between 5.15-5.30pm, so lovely peak time tickets 🏮🎇

Come and enjoy a morning of festive wreath making at the Great Green Barn using native hedgerow and garden bounty. You'll be taken through step-by-step to help you create your vision or follow the design instructions with tutor Sushma Windsor's guidance, taking home a beautiful 30-40cm diameter wreath to hang in pride place on your front door. The end product will also be fully compostable in your garden or green bin.

Cost for the class: £50
Date: Wednesday 4th of December, 10.30am to 1pm
Venue: Great Green Barn, Upper House Lane, GU5 0SX

Just a week after our official launch day and it seems the wildlife knows it too!

WOODPECKER RESCUE
Driving the ambulance with supplies for the hospital and there seems to be a piece of litter flapping across the road, it was no litter but an injured woodpecker flapping his way across a busy fast road. Well it seems he really wanted to test out our rescue skills! Stopped the ambulance immediately to see it plopping down a road drain full of dirty off run water from the road. He decided to squeeze through an adjoining drain. With quick thinking and luck, we found an overgrown manhole which we dug out and wedged open. The bedraggled and exhausted woodpecker, now called Splinter, was whisked away quickly for treatment. 🤞 For a full recovery Splinter!
