Diana and Ted at Parwood yesterday.
Such a lovely horse. Diana came to Wix Hill with a goal of getting out to competitions. A goal she has absolutely nailed now with a few successful outings.
Sadly not a clear round this time but there have been a few placing already and we all know dealing with live animals means there is no guarantee in life.

Saturday saw Vicky and Delilah back out jumping at Parwood Equestrian Centre after a short break.
Delilah and Vicky thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were placed 3rd in the 85cm!

Simply had to share this.

Horses are such a special part of our lives and can completely change your mood for the better.
I know….. Sometimes they frustrate you, but then sure we frustrate them too at times.
The Edwards Family and Wix Hill wouldn’t be without them though!

Horses have a natural ability to make people smile for many reasons! Here are a few that might resonate with you:

⭐Horses are known for their elegance and powerful movements, which can be mesmerizing to watch, whether they're galloping across a field or just standing peacefully. Their sheer presence often stirs awe and admiration.
⭐Interacting with or simply being around horses connects us to nature in a calming, grounding way.
⭐Horses are known for their ability to form deep emotional connections with humans. Their sensitivity to human emotions can create moments of companionship that feel special and joyful.
⭐The presence of horses has been used in therapy for their calming and healing effects. Being near a horse, grooming, or riding one can produce feelings of relaxation and joy.

Hello Gordon!
Yesterday we welcomed this handsome chap and his owners to Wix Hill.

As always happens here, Gordon is very settled and relaxed, seeming very happy with his new home.

Biosecurity measures are important and are routinely in place for new horses, so sadly he will have to be patient for 2 weeks before enjoying having a field companion.

Gordon will be able to see others whilst in the field though so sure he won’t mind!
