You probably already know us as Shalnavazz Sphynx (find and 'like' that page on Facebook too)! Lykoi cats are also known as "Wolf Cats". We welcomed into our home two beautiful F1 Lykoi carriers, Betty and Barney in the middle of July 2014. They travelled all the way from Tennessee to be with us and we couldn't be happier or more honoured to have them. They are a delight! At the end of this year,

Betty and Barney hope to be the proud parents of some wonderful Lykoi kittens, the first in the UK! We will use this page to keep you up to date with stories and photographs of Betty, Barney and co. 🌸🌸 Our Tabby Wolflings are well into their first major moult now. The little boy at the bottom has turned so fluffy, the little girl above is moulting at a slower pace and still has a lot of her birth coat.
Mummy Maisie continues to be an amazing mummy doing everything by herself! The babies have such wolf like faces/ expressions! 🌸🌸

🌸🌸 I have a heavy yet happy heart ! My two beauties from amongst my first Lykoi litters have now left us. 😢😢
They were litter mates and have been together for all of their five years. I am so glad I found a lovely couple with no other pets to take them both.
I would have kept them in a heartbeat but they didn’t get on with many of our other cats. They deserve more lap time and loving than we have time to give them.
Be happy my darlings and thank you for the beautiful babies that you have produced. 🌸🌸

🌸🌸 The babies are three and a half weeks old now. All are doing very well.
I was not so happy with one baby’s weight gain so I weaned them, at just under three weeks old. Such early weaning is a first for me!
The red and white boyis eating on his own. I just hold his saucer for him. The two dark girls are being spoon fed.
They still have an unlimited milk bar! 🌸🌸

🌸🌸SHALNAZZ GIGI and her beautiful babies. I though the pink one was black and white like daddy, but he’s red and white. Gigi was like that when she was born, her Red just kept getting so much darker and darker. Hence I struggled to believe that she was red and white, but she was, as is this ickle boy, who has ten pink paw pads to prove it! 😂😂
They are all feeding and gaining weight well now! Phew! 🌸🌸

🌸🌸 Introducing beautiful Shalnavazz Gigi’s three beautiful babies. Gigi had a long, hard labour and I had to step in and feed all of the babies. However one by one they have all started to feed from Gigi and she is being an amazing mummy! 🌸🌸

What a truly amazing show weekend. Great results and a great show/ regional banquet.
Thank you so much, Nicky, Sue, Piers, Michelle and all involved.
Thank you so much to all of the judges who finalled my girls.
My home bred Sphynx Shalnavazz Da Li pulled a hat trick with ten out of ten finals, ranging from two first’s downwards.
Blue Lykoi kitten Shalnavazz Maia was in HHP as she’s not black and also got ten finals. She was quite shy!

Has Facebook gone completely mad?
They keep restricting me for doing things like posting a kitten photo and saying :Shalnavazz Lykoi Blue Roan With White. Another adorable friendly boy!
I cannot understand what is wrong with that.
To crown it all I am being penalised for posting photos five years ago, when I’ve tried to be good and do as I’m told.
So I’m being constantly restricted and penalised at the moment for doing nothing wrong.
I will probably go to jail for posting this!

I cannot begin to say what and how much my colleagues and dear friends with whom I am working, have put into the Lykoi breed, in every way!

There is nothing to be gained by being a lot cheaper than other Lykoi breeders and starting a price war!

I do not breed Lykoi because they are expensive, but because I fell IN LOVE with them. THEY ARE beautiful, unusual, delightful and intelligent wee beings!

This is from a post that I posted five years ago. Whereas the facts above are still so true, it has always been hard to find fabulous homes for this wonderful and still new breed. Perhaps also because they are not known enough.

However at the moment it has escalated. I have a beautiful litter of five healthy, well socialised babies, but sadly no new parents. I also have a gorgeous six month old baby who does not have his forever home.

Due to the current economic situation my prices have been drastically reduced.

I will probably have one more Lykoi litter this year and then take a break.

Sorry for the negative post but I am beyond worried.
