It's been over a year since I looked after these guys, and it's like I've never been away. 😃
Some new additions to the family, too, welcome Bernie the lop, Misty, and Tiger-lily the cheeky kittens.
Can't forget the oldies midnight and Magic, Dexter, Hunter and Biscuit. 🐈‍⬛🐇🐾

Sorry for the lack of photos, this silly sausage has managed to get her phone soaking wet and I'm not sure if it is going to survive. All my lovely photos are stored on my phone. If my phone somehow does manage to survive normal service will resume asap.

On Remembrance Day, we honour everyone who served, but today we are also thinking about the animals who walked alongside them—the brave dogs, horses, pigeons, and more who gave their loyalty and courage in times of war. While the red poppy remembers the soldiers, the purple poppy symbolises these incredible animals.

🎆Guy Forks night is looming 🎆

Here are some top tips for keeping cats and other small pets safe and calm on Bonfire Night:

🎆Provide a safe space: Make a "den" for your pet with soft bedding or old clothes in a quiet place, like under a bed.

🎆Keep them inside: Keep your pet inside when fireworks are going off, make sure they have plenty of hiding places such as hooded beds or hay and straw for bunnies and guinea pigs.

🎆Block out noise: Close windows and doors, and block cat flaps. Draw the curtains and play music or TV at a comfortable volume to help mask the noise. Classic FM , NOW TV are playing distractions to help your pets.

🎆Let them hide: Allow your cat to hide if they want to, if they feel up to it you can comfort them but don’t force this on them, let them come to you.

🎆Stay calm: Stay calm and act normally.

🎆Provide treats: Offer your cat tasty food or treats to distract them.

🎆Use calming products: Use products like Feliway or Pet Remedy to help reduce stress. Start using them a few weeks before fireworks.

🎆Get veterinary help: Get veterinary help for your pets 6 to 12 weeks before the firework season begins.

If your cat is particularly anxious around fireworks, you might want to avoid leaving them alone in the house
