It looks like Bertie has a way of melting hearts! When you’ve got eyes that adorable, it’s hard not to be distracted from the task at hand. I’m sure Victoria couldn’t resist giving him extra love during his dental check—he’s definitely earned a permanent spot in the hearts of everyone at Dunbar!

A very happy client came into Dunbar to bring her Christmas miracles in for a health check and first vaccines.
We recently had to put her very loveable cat to sleep which she was totally devastated with, as was everyone who knew Alan. She thought she’d be alone for Christmas until these cuties came along and the Dunbar surgery just knew she’d be a great owner for them.
Suzanne the nurse went out her way to collect the kittens and then Ashleigh the receptionist delivered the kittens to their very grateful new owner.
These Christmas miracles are called Mary (tabby) & Joseph (black).

CHRISTMAS TIPS #2

Supervise pets near the decorations and tree as they pose a danger for pets.

- Vacuum up pine needles to prevent them getting stuck in paws
- Make sure decorations aren't small enough to swallow
- Keep tinsel away from cats to avoid them eating it

If pets swallow decorations they can be difficult to spot and cause blockages, irritation or perforation. If you think that your pet has swallowed a decoration call your vet urgently.

Remember we have a vet on duty 24/7 over Christmas and throughout the year.
