Rollo came to see us for his first puppy groom! 🥰

What is a puppy groom??
A puppy groom is your dogs first groom where they experience and get used to the bathing, drying and brushing. As well as holding feet and their heads. We will also try to do the necessary trimming like feet, hygiene and in front of eyes, if they let us.

A puppy groom should be done as early as possible as long as they have had both sets of jabs and no later than 6 months old.
Sometimes your fluffy pup might need 2 of these before their proper groom to get used to it.

We do these grooms for two main reasons:
1. Early exposure to puppy grooms will mean your dog will be less stressed for future grooms
2. It will be safer for everyone, as sharp scissors and blades around a jumping, excitable or fidgety dog can end up with either us or them being harmed and no one wants that!
