If any of your dogs struggle in the heat on warmer days and you are concerned please DO NOT bring them to day care. We always have to prepare and ensure safety of all your dogs as it can be very warm for us all!🥵

Even days between 24-27° we should take extreme caution so please do take this into consideration!

LARGE, OBESE, FLAT FACED AND YOUNG BREEDS are at the most risk on warm days of 23° and above. Please be mindful!

We do our best to keep the dogs cool and ensure they are safe at all times whilst in our care. But as you can imagine all the dogs love playing together and running around and will be very hard to keep them at bay in this heat.

Meet… Kobe 💚

Kobe is spending his first day with us today and he’s doing amazing. He was very shy this morning but he’s soon coming out of his shell and settling really well. We have no doubt that after a couple of sessions he will be running in with excitement!!

Does your dog go to HAPPY PAWS doggy daycare?

Pet Paws are now offering a pick up and drop off service soley for the day care.

Your dog will be collected from their homes and dropped off at the daycare, along with any belongings needed to be taken with them. At the end of the day they will be returned home🐾🏡

All dogs will be transported in my car, seatbelts and harnesses provided to make sure everyone is safe and secure ready for a full day of playing with their furry friends🐶

Meet… 🩷 Peaches & Buster 🩵

These gorgeous two have recently joined us and have fit into the Happy Paws family amazingly!

Peaches is such a happy happy girl and has settled in straight away! She’s super confident and just wants to play with everybody & we love that!!

Buster was very nervous and shy on his first couple of visits but we made sure to ease him in carefully and at his own pace! He is now settling in perfectly and making lots of new friends☺️

Happy Dog House UK are running more Saturday sessions from Happy Paws.

Course session dates are - 25/05, 01/06, 08/06 and 15/06.
Each course is £60 and places are limited to ensure quality sessions for you and your dog.

Puppy Paws - 11.30am
Level 1 Companion Course - 12:30pm
Fun Agility - 1:30pm

Puppy Paws is pawfect for new pup owners.
Our session titles are Fundamentals First, Calm not Chaos, Balancing Needs and Common Concerns and we explore a huge range of topics from shopping essentials, diet, toileting to coping with mouthing, jumping up and chewing, to starting to build calm confidence and the best relationship between you! Each week there are theoretical and practical elements so you understand your pup more and have ways you can practice the behaviours you want. Plus weekly notes, a course What's App group and membership of the HDHUK owners page

Our Level 1 Companion Course is aimed at older pups, teen pooches or dogs who have no training experience.
With a greater emphasis on practical skills, we work through lead work, engagement, positions, possession and social skills with problem solving as we go. With weekly notes and access to the HDHUK owners page, we support you the whole way through the course to ensure you're confident and making the progress you want.

Our Agility for Fun is all about connection and confidence. We look at dog yoga, novelty, targeting, communication, connection, and how to safely guide your dog through some agility type challenges. Due to the centre, we CAN accept dogs that are less sociable with other dogs, but with discussions to ensure they will enjoy the course.

We welcome you to our dog day care in the centre of Halifax. Where your pampered pooches can have a fun day out in a warm and loving environment. We have an indoor and outdoor play area with a large astroturfed garden. The outdoor under canopy is a great way for your pooches to still play and interact outside in the freshair but stay dry and clean! Group play, Games, personal interaction and nap/quiet areas are available at our doggie day care.
