It's our gorgeous Troy's 6th birthday today. We've had a quiet day today as we're all tired from yesterday's Tia Rescue fun dog show. He won 3rd place in the Most Handsome Greyhound Boy category and has celebrated his birthday with a new sneaky donkey toy and sausages for tea 🥳😍

Last walk on the beach before being homeward bound tomorrow. Crissy is getting braver with the waves, even taking herself into the sea for a paddle. Troy meanwhile stayed firmly at the waves edge after his dunking the other day 🤣🤣😎

Keeping their cool before a walk to the beach ⛱️ Crissy's not sure what to make of the sea whilst Troy had a good run around then spotted a dog playing in the sea and decided to join in, no problem until he went crashing into the waves chest deep. The numpty then stood there, waves washing over his back and decided ' Mum, I don't like this come and rescue me'. He refused to move until I waded in to get him 🤣🤣🤣🌊

We received some very sad news on Saturday, one of our lovely greyhound boarders passed suddenly on Friday. She was a regular visitor and a lovely girl. She got on well with our greys, firstly Perry and Sienna and then Troy and Crissy. She made herself at home with us and could be a cheeky girl at times, turfing Troy out of his bed and joining us on ours at night. She accompanied us on the Great Global Greyhound walk last September and loved meeting all the other hounds. She became fast friends with my little grandson even though she hadn't had much previous contact with 'little people'. We always looked forward to her visits and will miss her greatly. Our thoughts are with her lovely Mum and Dad who are understandably devastated by her loss. Run free little girl and be with Perry and Sienna 😢🌈💔

The Boys are back this week 😍

This boot is quite comfortable, thank you and Mum says I've got my swagger back. She also told me that I'm supposed to wear both but my other paw is fine so I kept taking it off and she called me a stubborn monkey 🐒. I don't care because I got to go back to the woods 😅🐾

Troy doesn't look too impressed with his new boots does he?😒.We've just found out that he has a small corn, so he's got some boots to protect his feet for walking in the woods which he's been missing 😔

These 2 black beauties have been visiting us again. It's a pleasure to take care of these lovelies - even if they are a little bit bonkers 🤣🤣😍

Troy had a good run on the beach, then decided to play with Sienna but wasn't too sure when his paws got wet 🤣🐾 P.S may film him running later, I was too busy making sure he came back 😁

Our Troy's recall is coming along nicely. He comes back straight away most of the time now, even when distracted or running, and of course, salami sausage treats always help😋😍
