Does your pet’s fur protect them from the cold? ❄️

In most cases, yes! But in really wet and cold weather, if your pet isn't able to keep active or get themselves somewhere warm, their fur coat may not be enough. Like us humans, our pets, though thankfully rarely, can develop a dangerous and potentially deadly condition called hypothermia.

Any pet can become seriously ill if the temperature of their body drops too low, and acting quickly and doing the right thing could save your pet’s life.

Here are some key symptoms to look out for during the winter months! And if you suspect your pet may have hypothermia, it’s important to call your vet straight away and follow their advice ⚠️

Be careful not to heat your pet up too quickly, this can be dangerous. Use blankets and towels under and over them to keep them warm. Using hot water bottles and heat pads will heat them too quickly and may cause burns.]

Fireworks season is almost here and we want you and your pooches to be prepared! 🐶 We have some top tips for you but we'd also love if you commented with what you already do to keep your dogs safe and calm during the fireworks? ❇️👇

𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽? 🙏We have over 30 kittens in our care (that's a lot of tiny mouths to feed!) So we would be extremely grateful for any donations of wet kitten food to help us as we deal with record numbers of cats in our care. We're currently well stocked up on dry kitten food but any tins/pouches would be amazing.🐱

Does your dog like to take them self for walk without you or an expert at escaping your garden… try use trackers I use Pawfit on all my customers dogs and my own, accurate second to second tracking.. keep your fur babies safe and sound there are too many lost dogs out there 🥰
