Donaldson's Vets It is a Tier 2 RCVS accredited practice ensuring our facilities and staff training are up to modern standards. If this is an issue please get in touch.

The practice was established in 1985 by Chris and Eleanor Dale with the aim of providing high quality veterinary treatment for domestic pets within a personal and caring environment. This is a voluntary quality assurance scheme, involving a rigorous inspection of the practice carried out by a veterinary inspector appointed by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. We care deeply about our patie

nts, and are committed to ensuring they receive the treatment and attention we would expect our own pets to receive. We also offer a speedy and efficient referral service for colleagues dealing with problem skin cases. Facilities are available for the investigation and treatment of all types of skin disease including intradermal skin testing. A full written history, or a copy of the clinical notes, is required as are all relevant laboratory reports. Ideally treatment should be withdrawn at least 7 days before the first appointment. Referring veterinary surgeons are sent a prompt written report after each examination.

We can't wait to welcome familiar faces and new friends as we open our doors.
Our amazing team are excited to meet you and are here to help answer any questions you may have about our services.
We look forward to celebrating this special day with you and starting a wonderful journey towards health and happiness for your beloved pets

Our first patient of the day was the lovely Joss, a sweet dog who came in for her booster vaccinations and health check. The moment she walked through the door, she was greeted with big smiles and gentle pets from our staff.
Jos absolutely soaked up all the love and attention, wagging her tail in pure delight! 🥰🐶

To book an appointment, please call 01226 596816. When you reach reception, please mention that your appointment is specifically for our Pen*stone branch as calls are being diverted to Somerset Road.

It’s Christmas Jumper Day! 🎅🎄😁

Today, you might have observed that many of our staff have proudly worn their vibrant and creative Christmas jumpers to celebrate Christmas Jumper Day

In the spirit of giving, we also took this opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause. Staff generously donated to Vetlife, an incredible independent charity dedicated to providing free and confidential support to those in the UK veterinary community facing emotional, health, or financial challenges.

It was wonderful to see everyone come together, spreading joy and goodwill while supporting such an important charity. What a lovely way to celebrate the season!

Please note that we cannot accept duvets, which are difficult to wash and dry properly. Additionally, we kindly ask that you refrain from donating bath mats.

Donations can be sent to any of our surgeries, and we will distribute them.

🐱❤🐱❤ This group of adorable, fluffy kittens arrived excitedly for their second vaccination and they were just purrrrrfect!
With bravery shining in their bright eyes, the room was filled with soft purrs and playful meows. Each little furball was showered with love and cuddles on this important milestone of their health journey.
