Hi, I am Chloe.

I have worked as a vet here at Donaldson’s for the last two and a half years.

I have a love for all animals and can't wait to see all your furry friends.

Over the years here, I have developed an interest in dentistry and surgery.

When I am not at work, I enjoy an adventurous walk around the reservoir and moors.

I am also known for enjoying a city break, and enjoy learning the history of lots of different countries. 😁😁😁

Meet our Pen*stone Team 🤩

Veterinary Surgeon

I've worked at Donaldson's, based at the Thongsbridge branch for 15 years and in that time I've really enjoyed getting to know clients and patients very well.

For those who don't know me, I started out in mixed practice in the Lake District in 2007, but moved back to Huddersfield after 2 years and have focused on small animal practice only in more recent years.

Having had my own dogs, cats and rabbits, I really enjoy looking after all small animals and I have a particular interest in emergency medicine and surgery for which I achieved a GPcert this year.

Outside of work, I am kept very busy by my two rapidly growing daughters and our 2 dogs and I also volunteer in my free time at Meltham Wildlife.

It is a really exciting opportunity to be setting up the new branch in Pen*stone and I'm looking forward to meeting all our new patients and seeing the odd familiar one too. 😁😁😁

One of our clients contacted us yesterday to say they had received an email from ‘pet chip’ advising they needed to pay £30 to reinstate their pets microchip. After contacting Smart Trace they have been advised us that the website www.pet chip.info is fraudulent.
To check your pets microchip registration go to: www.petdatabase.com/chip-checker
You can also check all legitimate microchip databases here: https://www.gov.uk/get-your-dog-cat-microchipped

🥰❤🥰We want to say a huge Thank you to everyone who participated in our latest pet blood donation session. 🥰❤🥰

It was a fantastic turnout, with 22 wonderful dogs joining us to contribute to this vital cause. 🐶🐕🐩🐾

Thanks to their generous donations, we were able to collect 18 units of blood, which has the potential to save up to 72 lives. 👏⭐👏⭐

Your commitment and kindness are truly inspiring, you are lifesavers and we cannot thank you enough for your invaluable support.🥰🥰🥰

⚠️⚠️⚠️CAUTION - DEARNE PARK WOODS⚠️⚠️⚠️

There have been reports of a chemical smell in the vicinity of Dearn Park Woods, and the water in the area has a greenish-blue tint.
The Environmental Agency has been notified and will be conducting an inspection.
Please be vigilant if walking in this area and It is advised to exercise caution and refrain from allowing pets, to drink or swim in the water until further notice.

😁👏⭐We are absolutely thrilled to share that today marks the grand opening of our brand new Pen*stone surgery! ⭐👏😁

We can't wait to welcome familiar faces and new friends as we open our doors.
Our amazing team are excited to meet you and are here to help answer any questions you may have about our services.
We look forward to celebrating this special day with you and starting a wonderful journey towards health and happiness for your beloved pets

Our first patient of the day was the lovely Joss, a sweet dog who came in for her booster vaccinations and health check. The moment she walked through the door, she was greeted with big smiles and gentle pets from our staff.
Jos absolutely soaked up all the love and attention, wagging her tail in pure delight! 🥰🐶
