What a fabulous day we had yesterday with the The Association for British Working Equitation Regional Competition at Long Lover Livery, despite the rain (which is to become expected these days at these events 🤣).
The format this time was slightly different, faciliting the juniors and walk Trott to complete all there 3 stages in the morning, so they didn’t have to hang around. Then the novice and Inter B classes were in the afternoon.

Thank you to our judge Paulo Santos, for making the long journey up to us, we hope you thawed out on your way home🤣

Thank you to all the helpers Christine, Jane, Emma, Liam, Shona, and to Courtney for looking after the yard so I could focus on the competition.

I only have limited photos sorry, as I was in the office. Feel free to send me some if you have some you’d like to share.
It’s a shame we didn’t get a photo of the novice & Inter B.. did anyone get one ?

An official apology to Arietta, Darcy and William about the muddle with rosettes, you all did amazing 💖

The official results have been sent to ABWE, but they are away at the European Championships at the moment supporting Lynne Macleod, I’m sure they will be posted soon🙂

Entries for The Association for British Working Equitation Regional at Long Lover Livery 0n Sunday 15 September are looking low, please support, if we don’t get enough this will possibly not go ahead, and we may not get them again next year.

It’s such shame we clash dates with other W/Eq events in our region, we’v worked so hard to promote it up here over the last 2 years.

Please book and support the region, we know some of you will need to renew your annual membership too, but this is a rolling membership and will carry on for 12 months-you only need a silver membership to compete at a Regional.

We really need your support, if we don’t get the numbers we risk not having the competitions up here next year.

Paulo Santos is doing lessons at Long Lover Livery on the Saturday too and stables are available. DM for info.

Please book and support this as this is the last competition here this year and we have so many exciting things planned moving forward🤗

Paulo Santos of Paulo Santos Equitation Academy will be at Long Lover Livery on Saturday 14 September.

Lessons are £50 for 1hr shared.

Stables are available if you’d like to make a weekend of it by competing on Sunday 15 September ( please see our page for the booking link to the competition)

Due to unforeseen circumstances we have to postpone the have a go and clear round working equitation on 24/25 Aug. We’re really sorry and will post a new date asap.

Well that’s a wrap, what a fabulous working equitation weekend we’v had here at Long Lover Livery with Paulo Santos Equitation Academy. We of course had a little rain (it wouldn’t be quite right if we didn’t 🤣), but then the sun came out today for us.
Thank you Paulo for coming ‘up north’ and everyone who came and supported the camp and 1-1 lessons, I know you’v all gone off with a list of things to work on.
Paulo is going to check out some more dates for a return visit soon, so keep an eye on our page for dates.
Don’t forget we’v got a have a go day and clear round ease of handling and speed on Sat 24 Aug.

A short video of Izzy and Red’s first encounter… happy to support our junior working equitation enthusiast who’s pony is lame, but has an important camp booked next week with Paulo Santos Equitation Academy at Long Lover Livery.

Today one of the junior working equitation riders came for a ride on Red, he of course was an absolute gentleman, always happy to look after his rider, I think he really enjoyed it💖
