Our rehoming centre is based in Halifax, West Yorkshire and our branch covers the Calderdale, Huddersfield and Bradford District Areas. There are over 150 independent RSPCA Branches, covering all areas of England and Wales.

It’s time for a cool dog summer! 🐶

As things heat up outside, the National RSPCA is ramping the Dogs Die in Hot Cars campaign. This year sees the launch launch of regular public workshops to help people understand the risks, spot heatstroke signs, and learn how to keep their dogs safe in the heat.

Every year there are far too many reports of dogs being left in cars 💔. Many people still don't realise that it only takes a few minutes for temperatures inside a car to rise to deadly levels for dogs.

Join the life-saving ‘Cool Dog Summer’ workshops

Dates: 15 May, 19 June, 17 July and 7 August 7 at 1-2 pm

FANCY TAKING ON A 28 METRE CLIMB FOR LOCAL ANIMALS IN NEED?!

The Scratching Post Challenge is baaack and we’re calling on animal-loving dare devils to take on @‌Rokt's28 metre outdoor wall! This challenge is definitely not for the faint hearted!

On Saturday 7th June (from 11am) we will be looking for those thrill seekers who are ready to take on the biggest outdoor climbing wall!

Feline fancy dress is encouraged and climbers of all capabilities are suitable as the friendly Rokt team will be there to make sure your climb is comfortable, safe and guided all the way!

It’s just a £15 registration fee to take part and we would LOVE for you raise some sponsorship, after all – you’re taking on one seriously impressive challenge and every penny raised will directly support the animals in our care, so get your friends, family, colleagues, social media mates (and strangers, why not!) – to show their support!

2 Big Hearts, 0 Forever Homes — Can You Help our overlooked residents finally find love? ❤️🐶

SHYLO - Our affectionate Rottie boy has gone through not one but two eye surgeries and is now on day 109 in our Animal Centre. He’s full of love and will make the most amazing companion.

COOPER - Cooper is a lovable goofball who always seems to be 100% charged up and ready for madness, even after 60 days in rescue. He leaves our team in stitches with his ridiculous antics and he’s sure to light up any home,

These three incredible souls have been waiting far too long for their second chance. Despite their wagging tails and endless love to give, they keep getting overlooked.

We believe there’s a perfect match out there for each of them — could it be you, or someone you know? 🏡✨ Let’s get their paws through a new front door!
