Today at club we held the Kennel Club Good Citizen test. We had members taking their Bronze,Silver and Gold congratulations to everyone who took part.
Many thanks to Caron & Clive for giving up their day and organising us, special thanks to Glynis for taking the time on such a horrible wet and cold day to come to Pebmarsh to be our examiner.

Last puppy course of the year comes to an end. Congratulations to you all on passing your Kennel Club puppy foundation. Carry on with the training. All at Halstead wish you all a very happy Christmas and New Year.

Elm Park - you were amazing, new venue, sun, little bit of rain but plenty of fields for exercise and masses of wins from the last outdoor show of the year, it did not disappoint

Saturday wins
Mandy and Suri won Novice
Alice and Pickle got a 6th in A
Anita and Purdey won B, which is their third win and now means it is C only next year

Sunday wins
Tim and Effie 2nd in Prebeginner and beginner
Mandy and Suri 3rd in Novice
Annabel and Rufus 1st in beginners, next year Novice and A for this team 😉
Anita and Meisie 1st in A
Camilla and Margot 2nd in A
Elaine and Ziva 3rd in B
Kate and Glorioso Rey De Reyes 2nd in Novice

What an end to a fantastic season and a testament to all members at Halstead that each week there are rosettes being given out

Now for winter training, lots for us all to work on and next year we expect to see some new names on the rosettes list, you guys know who you are

Some more results from this weekend, firstly Micheldiver, Mandy and Suri had a double win, firstly getting third in Novice on Saturday, then a 2nd in Novice on Sunday, really well done to
you both

Our club members tend to be multi-disciplined which makes our club diverse and interesting, but this weekend one of our members had a double in Heelwork to Music, only their second time and wow did they smash it, congratulations to Alice and Pickle on winning HTM and Freestyle on Friday, then winning HTM again on Saturday, which means they now move up to Novice in both disciplines

We cannot wait to see the video of the round and what you do for our Christmas party, massive congratulations to you both

Well done to Wendy and Major for a 2nd in beginners, Bea and Rebel, for their 4th in beginner
Mandy with Suri for a 2nd in Novice and Henli for her 5th in B
Elaine and Ziva for their 3rd in B and Vespa for his 6th in A
But I think the biggest congratulations should go to Anita and Purdey for their second 1st in B having only moved into this class recently
Everyone competing today did brilliantly, dispite the 4 season in 1 day conditions (Bea - we were all routing for you from our cars honest ;-))

Today was the Great Baddow show, what a great day for it!!

but also today was our now yearly picnic lunch, thank you to everyone who attended, made or brought food with them and what a turn out we had, it was a great lunch!! Same time same place next year 😉

Fantastic well done to everyone who competed today, still showing what cracking dogs we have within the club

Really please with Major today. He worked very well and got us our 2nd beginners win, and not only that we got a trophy for best crossbreed. Perfect day all round.

This year Mandy and Henli are on fire!! Today they got their third win in B at Cheltenham Show, so now progressing to C, massive congratulations to you both, a well deserved win
