Part/time Cattery assistant
This casual position involves cleaning, cat care and reception work. 12hrs per week to weekends initially. We work split shifts, so own car is essential. Additional midweek hours available during the summer season April-October, so flexibility is required.
Must be physically fit as job involves a lot of bending, heavy lifting and cleaning to a high standard. Experience of cat care/handling cats is essential.
Position will also require occasional house/dog sitting
The ideal candidate will be used to working in a fast paced environment and being on their feet. The job will take place in all weather conditions, from rainy and cold to sunny and breezy.
Experience with owning or working with cats is ESSENTIAL. You must be confident with handling cats, all aspects of cat welfare, monitoring their behaviour & dispensing meds.
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions from owners regarding care plans for their cats
- Must be reliable and Trustworthy
- Must be able to evidence experience of working with cats and any animal care work (from kennels/stables/farm etc)
