We had a fantastic amount of prizes for the raffle so have extended it for this week and will draw on Sunday

Raffle tickets available at £1 a strip

the proceeds of the raffle are going to our BEST community interest group which is being set up to help disadvantaged adults and children and children with learning disabilities

There are also pictures of all of the ponies available to purchase in the shop for £2 each

can’t believe this wee guy is still for sale 🥹 , he’s the kindest sweetest little guy

For someone who wants to hack around on open ground , ride on the beach , school a little if you have the skill , ride and lead from another pony , or if you want run along in front of him you won’t find safer or sweeter

12 year old, 14hh chunky cob type ridden by adults and tiny tots. Safe, hacking, following anywhere lol, good lesson pony, likes jumping once his blood is up, the stronger the rider the better he goes, one of the safest we’ve ever had.

Suit mother daughter type share, hacking, or alround home. Please note this is not a ready made jumping or PC pony as he came to us preferring following and he will leave preferring following. 🐎 🐴

Hes 100% bombproof in ALL situations (we’ve taken him on a lot of visits, beach trips) and suitable for a nervous rider, weight carrying, well put together, friendly and affectionate. Lives out but could stay in, very cheap to keep and may have working livery option. Handled by anyone. He just won’t take you round like a robot unless you can ride.

You will see by the messages to follow he’s a safe confidence giver with a legion of fans, who’ve had their first canter or first jump. He’ slows when had enough but never spooky or nappy.

Thanks for our recent very successful Awards Night, we had a huge turnout and will be back bigger and better each year. Ticket sales would have increased sharply if capacity allowed more so sorry anyone who missed out.

Our intention a few years back was to have 2, then 1 assessment “week” with a straight pass or fail. We have evolved to understand a blended learning approach and to take into account the variety of horses and ponies.

There is no standard age/ length of time, it would be unrealistic to say it’s a 5 year programme as that would be achieved by people training more than a session a week.

The idea is that standards are similar if in groups or we have visiting coach’s coming in we can have a degree of level standardisation.

🟢+🟡🔵🔴

Greens🟢 are anyone from basic learner to starting canter, this type of lesson has full involvement from the coach.

Green 🟢+ is doing a bit more, taking more responsibility of safety, correct technique.

Yellow 🟡 are riders who have shows a much improved security of skill and position and who are confidence on a variety of ponies and situations. Yellow criteria says poles and jumping too, but we are really looking that they are autonomous in diagonals in trot and aware of canter leads.

Blue 🔵riders tend to be experienced riders doing more alround, beach, fields, training in dressage and showjumping or pony club level activities and be able to have a correct feel and influence over a variety of fences and ponies.

Red 🔴 we have now introduced a minimum age of 14/15 as this reflects the industry requirements for the Stage 1 of UKCC1, reflecting in skilful alround riders who can also take a degree of responsibility for themselves and others. Showjumping 85+ and xc.
* help with industry qualifications that can offer groom/ rider/ coach/ complete pathways.

🏆 Development team awards are voted on, but agreed by management other than Helpers Award which was nominated from our young team alone.

🏆 Riding Awards, Merit or Most Improved in Group are given directly by your coach.

We will be working through the latest badge updates on EC pro system, anyone deemed upgraded or merit who didn’t attend can discuss with their coach about them individually and we hope to work through everyone this month within the natural scope of lessons.
