Good morning,

Just a quick post to advise that all Grooming appointments for dates between now and January 3rd will require payment upfront at time of your booking.
This is non- negotiable and non- refundable (at my discretion).

This is an extremely busy time period, each year I promise myself not to go through the stress of being let down and messed around by clients, which unfairly impacts other clients and my income, but also my personal life.

I’m going to be firm with myself this year, I have many wonderful regulars, who I know will not take it personally and will support my decision to set this boundary :)

We still have some spaces available for boarding over the Christmas period ❄️☃️

Our own pets are always a big part of our Christmas Day and they love getting involved in the festivities! 🐶

All of our boarders are treated like family, if they spend Christmas with us they will be a big part of our Christmas Day too! Including waking up to their own present under the tree (Santa knows where all of the dogs are during Christmas, even if they aren’t spending it at home 🎅) and - with owner consent, will receive a full Christmas Roast, the same as our own furry loved ones do each year ❤️

So whatever personal space you tolerate them intruding upon at home .. we will tolerate it here 🤣 in the interest of making your family member feel comfortable and settled during their stay, by keeping their day to day routine as normal as possible.

This young Madam refuses to believe anybody should have personal space that doesn’t include her 🤣🥰❤️

Today, I am beyond devastated to share that Ziggy sadly passed away under tragic circumstances this week.

I take comfort in knowing he was home with the people that loved him most, he was a lucky and happy boy to have such an exceptional family who adored him endlessly.

He will be so sorely missed and I know he is over the rainbow bridge resting peacefully ###

Sleep well Ziggy, thank you for gracing us with your beautiful personality 😓😓❤️❤️

I have outlined below my working dates over the Christmas period.
These differ for Grooming and Boarding services so please ensure to read thoroughly.

I will be offering Home from Home boarding throughout the holidays and New Year.

Between the dates of 21st December and 2nd January -
*Prices will be double the usual fee for regular clients.
*Triple the usual fee for any new clients wishing to book in. This will also apply for any trial nights booked through this period.

Between the dates of 23rd-26th December and 30th December-2nd January -
*I will not be booking any clients in for grooms, whether booked separately or as package to a requested board.
*Any grooms that ARE booked in on 27th/28th/29th December will be charged at cost and a half of your usual grooming quote.

I highly recommend getting your Christmas grooms booked in, in advance as dates do go quickly and I will not be inundating myself with too much last minute work, due to wanting to spend quality time with my family :)

Polite notice for Boarding.

Please can customers have an idea of dates before contacting to discuss.

The last month I have had an influx of customers enquiring about a vague time frame, which I have been flexible around, particularly a few customers who are having a hard time, that I have bent over backwards to make things work for.. but when it comes to paying a deposit, do not receive messages back beyond promises to pay and then I don't hear from them again, it takes two minutes to send a message to say you no longer require my services.

I don't like to let people down, and against my better judgement, have penciled customers into the diary for popular dates, awaiting a promised deposit, turned down other enquiries from new guests, and then lost out on earnings, because I haven't wanted to let the first customer down, but been let down myself.

Unless a deposit is paid, your booking is not secured and I shall not be holding dates any longer without the deposit.

I have a small family of my own to support and, as much as dogs are my passion, this is also my income. I am always happy to discuss any requirements until the cows come home, but requesting to be booked in for dates that you aren't going to fulfill, is unfair

I love my work and am blessed with fantastic customers, I just ask that you are mindful of my time and don't waste it please x
I hate to write a negative post, but it's happening weekly at the moment
