This week in walks (and some from last week as I didn't post anything 😜) Well we've been super lucky with the weather although rather chilly, so I finally got the winter woolies out ( I love a beanie ) ! Wow what a week Dougal's 7th birthday, we welcome back Winnie with his fab new fur doo! Togo is an on lead dog only as he's a bit of a runner but we braved letting him off with months of work, wearing a tracker in a safe zone and he....... was a complete little legend ! Halloween, half term where I am blessed 😜 with a couple of little helpers and finished with a superb wedding! Phew I'm exhausted just writing this 🤭 happy goolish week 🎃☠️👽⚰️🐶🥰🎊

Well another week done and another just about to start! The clocks have gone back and it's starting to feel extremely Autumnly out there although surprisingly warm!

There have been plenty of walks this week including the weekend a few dropins, house sitting the rather gorgeous Rafa a 6 month retriever and a meet up with next week's wedding family the lovely Sox, Alex and Claire !

A great week of walks a busy 4 days as I took the day off on Friday and swapped the leads for a trip to Legoland with the kids! We welcome the beautiful Badger to the WolfeWalks crew who loved her first walk with us, quite happy doing her own thing which the other dogs respected, not all dogs want to play and interact with others which is OK and totally natural! This week in fabulous walks and a wedding!!! Ahhhhh what a week back in to a routine kids are back at school which means we welcome back the gorgeous Hattie and Nela. Also we have a few newbies and a couple of fabulous dogs who we've said goodbye who have moved yonder. A gorgeous wedding for WolfeWeddings chaperoning the beautiful Nova for Esme and Jaimie at Wasing estate. Jeee I'm lucky to do what I do even if it has been raining 😭🥰🐶

This weeks WolfeWalks! It's been a week of juggling!

The summer school holidays are always fun when you run your own business, luckily I have amazing parents who take on grandparent duties like no other, and kids who don't mind coming on the occasional walk (as long as I pay them 😉)!

I wasn't sure how I would go this week and whether I'd even be able to walk after setting myself a challenge to do a Spartan Race at the beautiful Badminton Estate on Sunday! Not only was it an immense amount of fun and I surprised myself with the result, the walking actually helped with my recovery!

We've had a super week walking in glorious sunshine heading for the woods where it has been nice and cool, except on one day where it was torrential rain and we got soaked!

The dogs have been fabulous and I got to meet the gorgeous Nova who I will be chaperoning to her mum and Dad's wedding next weekend! So without further ado enjoy the pics and have a super week 🥰🐶

This week in wolfe walks! Well it’s been a fabulous week this week 2 new dogalogs Pepper and Poppy who started off a little nervous but soon became confident around the other dogs leading the pack! Nela teed a bit of Canicross who she was a natural at… and we’ve branched out from not just wedding chaperoning but into the Funeral sector because every family member derserves to be able to say goodbye. 🥰🐶

Treats are great! They are a good teaching tool, a fabulous reward, a bonding mechanism and an easy way to distract your pooch should your dog be food orientated! But we do need to be cautious to how many treats we feed our pooches and the types of treats too! To avoid putting your puppy on a weight watchers diet should your dog be prone to a bit of a spread it is important to take the the treats from the "food bank" In other words reduce the amount of food you are feeding for their daily meal(s) in accordance to how many treats you are giving. All Dog food bags will give a guidance of the daily feed allowance per dog according to their optimal weight! Be aware that this is only a guideline therefore if you have a 30kg Beagle you do not feed it a German Shepherd Sized portion! Your Beagle is in need of a serious diet plan! So if you are doing a heavy training day and you have a treat bag overflowing with treats reduce your dogs meal allowance slighlty to avoid any K9 fat shaming!
