Today Gaia is in for her neutering and microchip 🐱🤍
Gaia is an indoor cat however her owners have prepared for the new law which comes in to place on the 10th of June 2024. This states that all cats indoor or outdoor need to be microchipped with number registered by 20weeks old.

Pet dental month! 🦷🪥🐈🦮

Did you know periodontal disease is the most common disease found in dogs and cats! Dental hygiene is crucial for pets as it helps prevent and maintain oral health and their overall well being.

So what’s involved in a dental procedure?
A thorough dental examination will be performed by one of our veterinarians to assess your pets teeth to check for any abnormalities. Then the teeth will be scaled and polished to remove tartar and plaque that causes periodontal disease. If any teeth need to be extracted then this will be discussed with you prior to the procedure.

Prevention is always better than treating the disease as this has to be done under general anaesthetic. However we know not all of our furry friends will let us brush their teeth as often as we would like!
