This lovely lady is Rose’s groomer let’s help her get to her target 😁

So as we all know im going to be running the London marathon on the 21-4-24 it’s the first one I’ve ever done and I’m going to be raising money for the guide dogs for the blind association, on the 23rd September we are going to be holding a fundraising day at Mucky Mutts called the ‘Bathathon’ a full on day of bathing and drying as many dogs as we can all to help raise money, so if you’d like you dog to get involved please contact us to make a booking, small to medium dogs only (if it’s popular for the big dogs we will do another day 😊) £15 minimum donation per dog per bath, this includes bathing and drying only nail clipping extra, no clipping or trimming on this day. I’m excited for this and I hope we can raise those pennies for such a great cause

So this week I was approached by a person who As they was walking by turned round and said it’s because of people like you (professional dog walkers) that this area is covered in dog faeces. Excuse me as I wasn’t 100% sure what I had just heard. he then repeated what he said so I asked him to approach my van and take a look at what was in front of me which is this picture.
there’s 18 bags there from the two walks I had done so far that day, granted not all of it had come from my dogs, as I had been picking up other peoples dog mess along the path as well because like everyone else I don’t want to walk in it
As there is no bin in the location. I have been taking this mess away with me and going out of my way to dispose of it in poo bin on my way home.
No apology was given for the accusation however, there is a cherry to the top of this story as he walked away-his dog stopped and made a mess and Guess who was not carrying any doggy bags the delight I had, as I pulled one out of my pocket and handed it to him.

After a lot of hard work and saving the van has now been kitted out with a new lining and a full set of cages, to say i’m excited is an understatement.
A big thank you to K9 Cages Burtons Vehicle Systems for doing a totally outstanding job.
The dogs have been testing them out over the last few weeks and they have all taken to them like a duck to water.

This week we said good bye too Rocca.
I had the honour of walking this sweetheart for number of years and was also given the opportunity to take her on one last walk with her friends this week, of course we had to go to her favourite place and do what she loved most stand in the field sniffing the air as the sun warmed her face. She will be sorely missed not just by us but her family.
Sweet running Rocca on the other side of your rainbow 🌈 ❤️

This weekend I got to stay at this little piece of dog friendly paradise.
For anyone like me, whose dog means everything to them then I highly recommend you pay a visit to Rowley Farm Holidays.
I got the privilege to spend 3 nights in their little hideaway hut, this cute little space has everything you need for your stay, from the most amazing king size bed to the log burning hot tub. The feeling of knowing you can open the french doors to let your four legged friend just walk around in the fully inclosed garden is truly comforting.
We regret we didn’t take advantage of the vast number of walks in the area due to Rose being unable to tackle them due to old age.
You do need to remember this is a working farm so you will hear the animals and farm equipment but to be honest this just adds to the atmosphere of the experience.

Hello everyone, due to the heat over the next few days all walks have been cancelled and I will now only be doing home visits.
