We've been busy at crufts svanna and baby boots have competed in the groomimg class and got a 2nd place in thr clipping class
So proud of them both 🐾🐾

The perfect littel new puppy to finish on today meet Amber the cockerpoo baby just 16 weeks old and enjoying her puppy pamper and being able to see again such an important part of owning a dog is getting the grooming scedule right for a lifetime of grooming 🐾🐾♥️♥️🐾🐾

That's me finished and on route to crufts for 4 days of dog heaven 🥰🥰

First and last dogs of today
Sorry in the lack of photos I've been so crazy busy with the crufts run up 😬
On that note lets celebrate the pure breeds,

Harli the Portuguese water dog, she may not be in the show trim but she is top class 🥰

Then Otis the labradoodle 2 pure breeds that make a lot of our pet dogs today, he was sun bathing waiting for his parents🤩

Crossbreed, pure breed, or complete mutt we love them all 🐾🐾♥️♥️🐾🐾

1 more day in the salon until we pack our bags first the green carpet at crufts 🤩

Nail clipping 📢📢

Never underestimate the importance of regular nail clips.
Keeping nails trimmed makes walking easier for your dog especially the elderly ones.
Keeps furniture and floors from being damaged, reduces slipping on hard surfaces whichn can mean injuries, plus the risk of being scratched.

For context clip my own dogs nails weekly to keep on top of growth🐾🐾

Nail clipping services available to book online or message for an appointment can usually fit in a nail clip at short notice.

A trend.

A laugh.

A game.

I will not be joining in these “trends” or using your family pet or mine to gain followers or likes or publicity, your dogs mental welfare means more that this to me.

What I see is a very stressed dog that already can’t cope with a dryer on high force and yes these are powerfull dryers it takes the breath out of you! I done it on myself.
On an area of the body they find hard around the face, not to mention they are tethered and have no choices to avoid such vile handling.

Your dog trusts me and I will do everything in my power to not break that trust, ok they don’t always want a bath or nail clip but with the right handling they do learn to tolerate it.

So no trending this from any good groomers 💯💯💯
And if your groomer does this then please for your dogs sake leave!!

but he’s doing better each time he’s in.

A gentle reminder to check behind ears for knots and matting, this area is prone making sure in your groom regime to comb through.

Bertie joined the big boys club and had his first haircut his mum does such a great job keeping on top of his coat for the last 8 months but it was definitely time.

Dogs 🥰don’t they just know when your not feeling 💯Baxter gave me many more loves this morning than the usual, when I think back to how he was after being rejected by other groomers. He just needed some loving ❤️❤️🐾🐾❤️❤️

Pics for attention,
I have had surgery over the weekend so in recovery all grooms this week will still go ahead- no rest when we’ve got crufts so close😳
However I may be taking things a little slower pace than the usual so grooms may take slightly longer than normal while I try and recover thank you for the understanding.

Here’s a few from today Diego the golden retriever who’s come so far he even jumped in the bath today!

Then lastly Carly the hearing dog for deaf people in training Max,s sister who had a not so great experience at another local groomers but here she done so well and we completed her first puppy pamper ❤️❤️🐾🐾❤️❤️

New boy Foxy the 13month old cockerpoo had some severe matting-his mums now going to come routinely to avoid so had to go short but he’s feeling much better for it good boy foxy see you soon
