It was five years yesterday that the first dog walked through the door of the newly opened Dexter’s Grooming Shed.
I’d like to say a huge thank you to all of my amazing clients, most of whom have been with me from the very early days, for supporting me and my little dream business. And to many others who have supported me along the way, whether it was helping with child and dog care during my training, giving me a confidence boost when imposter syndrome crept in or following my posts and helping spread the word.
You have helped me grow from a handful of clients in January 2018 to a busy business of many dogs a week, and I’m eternally grateful.
To make up for last year’s doggy dearth, a montage of the first visits of those dogs whose guardians took a chance on a newly qualified, inexperienced, slightly terrified but super keen and caring dog groomer in January 2018, and even a couple I groomed in my conservatory before the Shed was ready!! Most of these are still with me now, although sadly lovely Buddy (a beautiful gentle soul who I still miss) passed away some time ago.
