Evening folks just to let you all know and send apologies if I haven’t got back to messages as yet.

I lost my phone last Saturday and just can’t find it. Anyway have got a new one, contact number still the same. However I’ve had a complete nightmare with iCloud been trying everything to get connected but I am totally lost. So I’ve created a new account which is causing delays with having to download all my apps again with new details to gain access. What happened to the old days when you popped the sim in and off you went.

Anyway I’ll be answering everyone as soon as I can. I apologise for any inconvenience but technology is a blinking pain 😩

Great service available peeps if you need a quick clean up in between grooms. Pop into Lynda’s at Hungry Hounds Hebrides.
Only tips I would recommend is move the blaster hose slowly over the body and make sure as little water as possible gets in the ear (hold the ear flap down with your thumb).

And we’re off!!!! After a long wait and numerous hurdles the dog wash is FINALLY up and running!
Payment is either coins or card.
£12 for 10 minutes (ample time for the average dog) with an option to buy extra time.
Although there is parking, it’s a shared facility so please be mindful of other users. There is plenty of space to park right next to the wash shelter.🐾🐾

‼️Reminder of my “No Show Policy”‼️

In the space of three weeks I have had two no shows. No explanation received despite messages being left. So I feel the need to remind customers to nip this in the bud.

📌📌Your groomer requires 48hrs notice of a cancellation or at the very least 24hrs notice. 48 hrs gives your groomer time to fill the lost appointment. 24hrs gives your groomer time to reschedule appointments for earlier starts if appropriate.📌📌

💳💳As a reminder too all bank transfers will have to be paid at time of pick up.

It is the most annoying waste of my time waiting on someone who doesn’t appear and thinks my time and services are dispensable. Things happen unexpectedly a fact of life but a phone call or message to advise is always appreciated.

Going forward I will now be requesting a no show fee. Any future appointments already scheduled will be cancelled. Should you wish a future booking it will have to be pre-paid in full.

I apologise if the tone of this seems stern but for your groomer it is the number one issue particularly when we have customers desperate for an appointment or waiting to get on your books.

That said I have the most amazing customers who’s loyalty I appreciate and who I regard more than just customers but friends. Sad fact in life there are a small number that let you down. Lol rant over 😱🤦‍♀️😂🐶🐕

Having a faff afternoon with wee Willow. So which leg do you prefer? Straight or slight indentation at top of leg to accentuate shoulder and chest?
She did end up with indentation so she wasn’t going out wonky 🤪.

My gorgeous wee super model Aoife. Adore this wee girlie as she would let me faff all day long. Her mummy keeps her coat in tip top condition which is a groomers dream and creates less stress on your dog. 10 out of 10 Helen keep up the great work. 💝🥰🤩

Hi my lovelies. Just to let you know that I am off sick at the moment. So all dogs booked this week will have to be cancelled, including those that were rescheduled due to the severe weather conditions. I am really, really very sorry for any inconvenience. I’ll be in touch in the next couple of days just to confirm with those that are affected.
I’ll let you know exactly what’s wrong with me and when I can realistically fit you back in. But I will need to take it easy a bit.
I’ve been poorly since last week and unfortunately got worse during the night so back to Doctor today who sent me straight back up to the Hozzy.
It won’t hold me back but I just ask that you bear with me for a wee while. Auld age and aw that 😂😂
If you need to check in with another groomer to keep on top of your pupsters I totally understand. But I’ll do my very best to get everyone back in as soon as I possibly can. Just need time to mend so I can keep my lovely crew looking their very best and I’ll need their extra cuddles 🐾🐾

The weather down at Kyles is very pretty but grim for travelling. I’ll be contacting those who have appointments for the rest of the week to offer to reschedule. I really don’t want folk worrying about cancelling and attempting to travel in this. Coats may need to go a bit shorter, so brush and comb as best you can and I’ll work something out. It’s hair it grows back but let’s just stay safe 🐾🐾💝

Wishing all my lovely customers and my adopted furry weans a wonderful Christmas and absolutely fantabulous New Year.

I’d like to thank each and every one of you that have continued to support my little business throughout 2023 and from the beginning of opening almost 3 years ago, it really does mean so much. I’ve enjoyed getting to know you and regard you more than just another customer but friends. Loving our natters and putting the world to rights. But even more the cuddles from my adopted weans. I’ve got to know them over the years, what they like and don’t like, working round things but always ending with a reassuring cuddle and downtime. They honestly lifted my mood when I lost my darling Katie earlier this year.

A huge thank you too for all my beautiful gifts for Christmas. Your generosity and thoughtfulness is very much appreciated. Again thank you for your continued loyalty and support you really are a special bunch and I am really blessed to have you on board with your gorgeous pupsters.

It’s been a bitter sweet week of goodbyes to some of my sweetest little furries. That I shall miss but hope to see again.
Sadly Darling Boris lost his lovely mummy, Heather suddenly. I am so grateful to his family for allowing me to give him his final groom, from me anyway. He now goes to live with Heather’s daughter on the mainland and that’s nice to know he’ll always be with with those that love him. Hopefully I’ll get a cheeky wee cuddle when he comes back to visit Kate & Doug.
Sad but not quite so sad Aussie and Cooper were in for their not quite final groom but for a while anyway. Both off on a years adventure with mum & dad to a warmer island in the Caribbean. Have a blast boys till I see you again 💝🐾 Safe travels ✈️

It is with great sadness I write the passing of a very gracious lady Heather and send my heartfelt condolences to her family and her beloved Boris who I’ve groomed for a few years now.
God speed Heather RIP lovely lady, you will be so missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing you 💝💐

A huge thank you for my thank you. I was totally taken a back by the lovely card and gift, my favourite scented candle with a huge tip from one of my lovely and long-standing clients Helen and my little super model Aoife. Grooming can be a isolated career but never lonely when you have loads of doggie cuddles and chats. And when someone kindly shows appreciation for what you do and love doing, well it just blows you away. Thank you so much Helen for your kind words and thoughtfulness and friendship, I was truly lost for words and Aoife for all your cuddles and patience with my faffing 😂😂💝🐾💕

I am now on holiday until Monday 26th of June. Time to recharge the batteries as I haven’t halted since the Christmas break.

Hope you’re all enjoying this amazing weather just hope it keeps up for my wee holibob but remember to be extra cautious with the furry weans in this heat. Pavements get hot as does the sand if you’re thinking about a trip to the beach. Temperatures rise dramatically and quickly in cars, even if you’re only going to be 5 mins, but get talking to someone, time runs away. No dog ever died not getting their regular walk. But you all know this - just be safe out there and I’ll catch up when I am back 🐾💝🐾
