This is the outcome you get if you bring your dog to the groomers from a young age ๐ Oz has been being groomed ever since I got him and doesn't it show? Don't get me wrong though, when he sees me opening my grooming room door ready for a bath he disappears sharpish seems as most labs he would much prefer a bath in a dirty stream ๐ but once he's got over it he plays ball throughout!
Even if you bring your puppy for a bath and brush it really helps with the new noises smells etc which over time desensitises them to the way of life in the salon. After all most are back every 6 weeks minimum so if you can take your puppy on a walk to get used to new experiences you can definitely take them to the groomer, plus I bet they come home smelling MUCH better than the field ๐
