Padside Cattery is a purpose built cattery, situated 2.5 miles off the main A59 Skipton-Harrogate Road near Blubberhouses. It is only a 20 minute drive away from Ilkley, Otley, Skipton and Harrogate. The cattery is owned and run by myself, Jill Houseman, a retired Veterinary Nurse who makes sure that all of the cats receive individual attention, including grooming and any nursing or provision of m

edication. The brand new, purpose built cattery building was opened in September 2018 and is a delight for both our feline guests and for myself! With underfloor heating throughout we will all stay very warm and cosy during the Winter months. For more details visit 'The Cattery' page. Licensed by Harrogate Borough Council for 40 cats Padside is in a quiet rural position well away from roads and traffic and there is lots of other wildlife around to add to the scenery.

I am looking for a home, on behalf of my neighbours for this lovely friendly stray cat.
He turned up at their farmhouse,and found not to have been neutered or microchipped. He did however look to have had a collar on at some point. They have tried their best to introduce him to their 2 cats, but sadly they won’t accept him. He has now been castrated, vaccinated and microchipped. He stayed with me in the Cattery for a short time, and he is a lovely affectionate cat, thought to be 1-2years old.

At last after nearly 7 months, these 2 have finally left in time for Xmas in their new home. It has been a long time coming for their owner, who has managed to visit them twice a week since June! I’m sure it won’t take them long to settle, but I’ll miss them after all this time. It’s strange to go into the Cattery and not see them🥰😻
